  • Haven't come across a decent video for the sound of an Intruder so thought I'd post this. My bars are bent due to a drop :(

This video is freaking awesome ! I gotta get me a genuine Hero . I bought some imitation e-bay " sports camera " which takes okay video but has some crazy background tone and the wind noise is terrible .

Nice sound. Have you tried it on longer traveling runs? How does the motorcycle feels? Is it comfortable?

Thanks! I have yes. The noise never bothers me, but it is very loud. It's comfy too, arms can get abit tired on a long run though!

    greetings form Poland ;)
I`m wondering about buying this intruder or vs 750/800. I prefer 600 cc because of fuel consumption. I`m planning to use this bike for a long trips and i dont wanna look for gas station every hour ;) But i`m just afraid of the lack of power. does the 600 cc enaugh for you to ride with comfort ? i dont like lazy rides ;)

Loud pipes save bikes. Just out of curiosity what is the top speed you have got to? And will it sit on that speed comfortably.

Fastest I ever had it was like 105mph, but that was with baffles I think. It'll do over 90 without the baffles but I wouldn't want to be cruising at that speed. Sits at 70 or 80 just fine though!

Did you have to change out any of the original brake cables or clutch cables to put on those handlebars?

Vash X Nope, didn't need to!
I have 30" wide, 10" high t-bars on it now and still didn't need to change anything.

That's a total relief I have a Intruder 800 that I have bobbed out it's got Buck bars on it but I've been really wanting to get some Z Bars and since now I know I don't have to change anything out that is going to be a reality

I did like the intruder better than the boulavard in a. Lot of ways they were
      cleaner and simpler

800 is to big for me 250 wsy to small 600 I'd just right.plenty.of pull and not to. heavy

Now a days the big monster bikes are not practical unless you are on. The hiway a. lot grate but with in a 500 mile radius 600 is plenty I don't need.. all that power or all that weight no more 700 pound bikes I don't need
