What I find interesting is that the tithe was for the Levites because they had no inheritance in the land. It consisted of animals, grain, seed, etc. We are to share with those who teach us, but Paul left an example of them working as well. I used to listen to Juanita Bynum and I stopped about 6-8 years ago. I noticed that her eyes looked very different after she was preaching at Pastor Giles conference. Something in her seemed dark to me after she preached and was walking around snapping at the security to get away from her. Prayers up for these leaders. I've been Pentecostal my whole life & still believe in ALL the gifts, including prophecy. However, I've always questioned why God was only going to bless people if they gave $1,000(or whatever ridiculous amount) because that implies that God is just blessing people with money to give. What about the people who lack funds and could actually use a financial "turn around?" This perversion of the gift of prophecy breeds a feeling of inadequacy among the body. These are false prophets, not just Joesph Smith, Muhammed, & others.

She was a good preacher when she started out early but she got a bigger audience and doing appearances with TD Jakes and other mega pastors and she jumped into that lane of always talking about $$. I remember YEARS ago when I attended church faithfully and I wanted a financial paper for my taxes. I gave over $7,000 in one year. I damn near fell out of the pew not slain by the Spirit but my foolishness. I had a decent job but when I say the struggle was REAL! 😩😩😩😩 So after I stopped reaching for every coin to give I was able to get my own apartment, pay my car note, all my adult bills. And most times, the church is not willing to help even though we sow & tithe faithfully. Just gotta trust God cuz you may be on your own if in need.

I remember a story about her getting over on a pastor and church who booked her for a conference or speaking engagement…. He went in her hotel prior to her arrival to set up her amenities that were apart of her rider. He turned all hotel keys over to her assistant as she would have her team go in and lay out sheets everywhere 😮 the assistant told her about the amenities in the room and she flipped out so bad she refused to complete the engagement and kept the church’s money leaving their attendees to suffer. I already knew to avoid people like this but that gave greater confirmation to me about these religious actors!

I paid to go to this ended up not going. My wife and son went and I couldn’t even stomach watching it on stream. I turned it off the first night. And only turned it back on when my wife prompted me to check something out. Giles even asked for a 250 dollar seed. It seemed like after everyone spoke they was looking for an offering. My wife said you had to pay for parking for the arena every day weren’t allowed to bring in something as simple as a water bottle. Glad I stayed home and honestly I’m glad she went. Unfortunately, having worked behind-the-scenes of the mega-church sector well over a decade ago, big-name pastors are invited to conferences with the intent to raise an abundance of funds for the ministry and as an offering back to them. Unforrunately, its by design and the people in the pews are clueless to these tactics. 😔
Yep and they get a cut so their motives are exactly pure when they do the offerings
I once followed Juanita, when she first came on the scene, this is truly pimping the people, it’s so sad and it’s beginning to move throughout the body of Christ. What we as believers must do is listen to what Holy Spirit says everything else is wind!
What hurts me so much is they LIE on GOD saying things like "God told me..."
