As I rewatched this scene (like a few times after seeing it in theaters), I’ve noticed how Anxiety’s mouth is bigger than her entire head. I think it could represent how we create this facade for others in order to protect ourselves from things we can’t see. EX- whenever Anxiety smiles it seems forced/fake while Joy’s smile seems more genuine and real ❤❤❤
Kinda wrong, Anxiety isn't a villain. Anxiety only wants to protect Riley and Joy and the other emotions only got in her way. The whole point of the movie is that Anxiety isn't a villain, riley needs all her emotions, including Anxiety. Anxiety got carried away, that's what anxiety is, it's a feeling inside of you, moving so fast your mind can't keep up, clouding every thought you have until eventually you get overwhelmed. That is why towards the end of the movie, the other emotions find a way to help Anxiety relax.
