Those water arms look a bit flimsy. The ones on airport fire trucks thirty years ago with the huge white turntable cab roof mounted telescopic probes controlled by a tank commander type fire fighter were famed for having a spike that could penetrate the skin of an aircraft and extinguish a fire in that way for cargo planes and cargo holds or once the passengers had evacuated. The speed of deployment of those booms would seems to be imprecise at the minimum, no cross-winds thank you! 😎😇

They do not open the outboard thrust reversers due to width of craft A380. Too much grass disturbance & debris flying.
This airplane has only inboard thrust reverser.
