    Great vid dude! Can I ask, what part of the Hibiscus is the Carpel?

    • @coxsciencecenter
      @coxsciencecenter  Před 3 lety

      Great Question! Carpel is going to be another name for the pistil (2:33) of the flower, which are the female parts of the hibiscus flower.

    Is this flower complete or incomplete?

    • @coxsciencecenter
      @coxsciencecenter  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for the question Tyler (Go Heat!). This particular hibiscus flower would be a complete flower. If a flower has sepals, petals, pistils, and stamens, it is a complete flower. If any of those parts are missing, it would be classified as an incomplete flower. For a more detailed explanation, check out the Basic Flower Anatomy section of the video (1:42 - 2:45)

    Did this (with a smaller flower) at school today... Definitely didn't have any safety gear. Wait no, I lied. We had masks as per school rules.
