You look TF GOODT. I love your confidence. I never got that external validation from family or friends growing up. It wasnât until I attended undergrad in a new city that I started to get a new perspective. Even that couldnât undo the damage inflicted on me from others as a child. It wasnât until I was years into my relationship with my husband that I started seeing myself the way heâd always described me. Beautiful, compassionate, driven. Undoing negative self talk is HARD. But weâre worth it. I did the work. Now I canât fathom life without self love. Thank you for this.đ
My 2 Year old walked in On me watching and Said âwowww, QUEENâ then said âI need crownâ đ„șđ„șđ„șđ„ș thank you thank you thank you! You are everything I discovered you in HS and been watching since your funny makeup videos! You have no idea how inspiring you are! Thank you thank you thank you
When I realized that no amount of outside validation truly sustained my confidence, is when I decided to make it personal. I started eating better, exercise, taking social media breaks, journaling, and complimenting myself a lot more. If I make a mistake, I no longer âyouâre so dumbâ. I replace it with âokay not your best, youâll learn and do better next time.â Before I leave the house every morning I recite âYou are beautiful, capable, radiant, intelligent and amazing. Focus on the mirror and not the glass. I love youâ and then I smile or blow myself a kiss. đđ
I love being a BW and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love my melanin, I love my 4c Hair, I love the fact that when I go out in the sun I don't burn that much and I also love the fact that I am very fertile. Melanin is the way to go!
Iâm going on a self love journey & really needed this. Itâs weird because I donât like to say Iâm pretty because I donât want other people to think Iâm better than them. I also am scared that if I say I am people will say the opposite. Thank you this video was much needed â€ïž
I was in my worst headspace ever when I just decided to dip and get myself breakfast and a movie, and it was then that I realized I would never stop taking myself out on dates.
I take myself out at least once a month. It could be just going to a nice restaurant or to a park with my dog, or traveling. I love the vibes in this video!!
Confidence and self love will always look like arrogance to someone who hates themselves! Always! Keep doing your thing sis!! Love your channel!! Youâre absolutely stunning! đđđ„
I'm one of those girls that compliment other women. So, when I go out, it's usually with other family members so that makes it kinda hard to give compliments, but I find a way. It's a fun thing to do, and even with masks on, when you compliment someone, they start to glow.
@Iameloho... We are born loving ourselves. No one has to teach us that. We are taught to hate ourselves. Someone taught us to hate ourselves. Hating oneself is not natural.
Skin is glowing, face is serving, crown is sitting! PURRR đđđ
I know I'm going to get in trouble for this...

I have been going out of my way to show black women and children love whenever I see them. Great tip!!

You are so right. I had to stop following celebrities because it started making me feel bad about my normal life.
Showing this video to my daughter who struggles with low self-esteem
