He moves calmly to not set off the Springlocks But as the song progresses and BF is shown to not be affected/phased, Afton starts to get a little panicked. By the time of the second verse, Afton goes into full panic, not even caring about the Springlocks as he moves frantically. BF, at this point, has realized Aftons weakness and starts singing faster and faster in an attempt to set off the springlocks, which works. I’m pretty sure Aftons mistake here was getting more and more panicked. Had he kept his cool like he had in the first half, he could’ve walked out unphased
