Great suggestions. I'd go one step farther and remove the round table and put in a large floor plant that has enough height to break up the horizontal line you were pointing out. The wall behind/above the couch is crying for more art, and possibly a repaint of an accent color. Maybe something (tone from) akin to the fireplace painting that they like so much. Great Series. Looking forward to more! xx
I love these videos Lou because you give such great tips. I look around my house and realize I seriously need to make some changes. As I have said before, my DNA makeup is lacking any sort of decorating gene. My older sisters got them all. Thanks again. Love watching your videos.
Room looks incredible! Only thing I thought of was change the rug and move TV over fireplace. So helpful because I have a brown sofa that I "have to live with for a while longer" too. I'm going to use your tips and sofa style in first layout in light grey when I redo my living room. Thx for all your videos. I just LOVE your channel.
I like all of the changes you suggested. I agree that the kids corner is fine where it is, my son had a pop-up tent that lived in our family room and I just made it a part of the decor. I made sure to keep it tidy and actually missed it when he no longer wanted it.
I love all of your ideas! I was hoping you would show how you would stage the empty room....and you did! thanks. Please advise what systems or app you use to virtually stage the rooms. Thank you
I love your final proposal and agree with you that this would be ideal. However I really doubt that you can put a 3seater and 2 armchairs opposite the fireplace, the room seems too narrow for that. Note that at present there is only a 2seater facing the fireplace.

I thought your changes were great and easily doable for the home owner. Good Job!!! LOL
I loved the changes that you made. So airy and light.

I like your ideas here Lou. I love how nice you were re: their child's play area. Family first always. 😊

You are so talented & creative! As I’m updating & remodeling my home, I’m referencing your videos for inspiration!
I like your videos and how they are simple yet effective changes that one can make instead of recommending a lot of expensive upgrades.
I love when you take the liberty of doing a new space!! Can't wait for another video!!

What a lovely room to start with. I loved all the choices, Lou... Have a fantabulous night! xoxo #ProudLouzer
Oh my gosh, I love this video. I just learned so much from you in 5 minutes. I’d love to send you pictures of my living room and get your feedback.
can you share what software you use to create these beautiful designs?
I would like for you to see some pictures of my living room. See what you can advise me to do.
a couple potted plants on the deck to soften view
I think the play area needed a little bit more light, it looked kind of dark there in the corner.
😘
Nice

right?! it is okay for people to know a kid lives there! I know that no one will mistake that in my house lol
