- This is my collection of Lost in Space models and props that I've collected since the show first premiered in 1965. Some are at my home and the rest are in another building downtown. In the 10 months since I made this video I've created many more dioramas that I added to the collection which can be seen here. • Bill's Lost in Space C...
Seeing those consoles in the Jupiter 2 was amazing enough... but when you stepped OUTSIDE the ship...! My brain's a bit blown, Bill I'm in real awe. I'm a 60 year old man who feels 12 years old again. Thanks for sharing all this! 😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Same age now, but 14 1/2, in re-runs.
Fantastic. I thought I was the only person in the world to love Lost in Space crazily.
Best collection I've ever seen. The time, effort and money you put into this collection is beyond words.
I'm glad to see that he's still a kid at heart. What a fun atmosphere that must be .
Truly impressive, coming from a big L.I.S. fan
You, SIR, have completely blown mind !!! It's an absolutely ASTOUNDING collection. I am stunned by ur passion. I so wish I could see this in person 😮😮
I am lost for words to describe how incredible all of your collection is...Just, Wow!
Wow you just made the 1960’s kid in speechless my 1966 version of heaven.
Bill Hedges and his LIS environment "computes'!"
I am in awe. When you stepped outside of the ship I just grinned from ear to ear. I want one too!
THIS in one aspect where Lost In Space STILL lives. Irwin Allen would be proud.
You have a magnificent par excellence collection.
I grew up with Lost in Space.
I am totally amazed.
Totally.
Yup, there`s a Jupiter 2 on my Space Ship rack and my B-9 Robot next to it. Special effects in that day and age were a lot more labor intensive but they got the job done. I was about nine years old when Lost In Space came out. The 60`s was a magical time. The world was more innocent back then. People trusted Governmental officials. Roswell was still fresh in peoples minds. It was only two or three years after the CIA assassinated Kennedy. A dark time in American History but there were great shows like Lost in Space that projected an optimistic view of what the world could be like. Even Dr. Smith taught you to always look out for that snake in the grass. Truly a great show.
I can't stop smiling. Thank you for sharing.
A masterpiece! I couldn't stop smiling.
Your collection must be worth a fortune. I remember getting one of those blue and orange robots for Christmas when I was 8 years old. (I'm 63 now.) I sooooo wish that I still had it. I hope that whoever inherits it keeps everything together.
Doug I'm Jeff...Hi. When I read your comment I had to reply. I too am 63, AND had that "Orange and Blue Robot" (by REMCO). Fantastic collection William has isn't it.
I am an OLD original Lost in Space junkie... What you have done is unbelievably AWESOME!
Absolutely wonderful to see such pride in a beautiful show 🤗 Thankyou x
I absolutely love it. Wish I was a good Carpenter and creative enough to make all them props. as long as you are around the show will never die. I loved the show because I was a small boy and my parents were alive. Thank you so much I enjoyed it.
I think you have created everyone’s oasis of the show that we as youngsters marvelled @!
Simply brilliant
Your collections and sets are like unto a time machine. They truly take me back to simpler, more enjoyable times.
Your cat watching the cosmic storm is one of the cutest things I've seen in a while!
She likes to follow me around for sure. There's no actual window in the viewport so she sometimes jumps through and goes "outside"
@@williamhedges1519 so she has the ability to *phase through* the viewport...handy little cat you've got there!
@@justinplayfair4638 She is a cosmic cat, although she had a harder time phasing in from the outside. czcams.com/video/ldomOtrpGNg/video.html
@@williamhedges1519 Nice collection....but I did not see the Judy Robinson 12 inch figure made. Were you able to get a Judy?
Very IMPRESSED....... I watched this show as a kid and have never forgotten it. Thanks for posting.
I hope you have sprinklers and plenty of fire extinguishers handy.
What a treasure !
What a collection!
Mr. Hedges to you I say
Thanks you for your passion of Lost in Space!
Amazing Collection - such detail - Fine walk through like a museum tour. Great Job - I hope you are a member at the RPF. Thanks for sharing your work.
It's astounding what Irwin Allen saw as a moneymaker so many of us see as an escape ..back to childhood, into fantasy or whatever. Bravo
This is awesome. I would love to come see all this in person.
his collection is incredible he just about everything about LIS
Sir, I am truly speechless! This is unbelievable what you've done here.
I have seen this bridge, first hand. It is an exact duplicate of the one used on the show. Bill's collection and dedication to authenticity is inspiring.
I am very impressed. That was my favorite show! Wish I could yours in person.
This is a childhood dream so well done........thankyou Bill......
Astounding. Beautiful collection. This is a museum, and a fun one !
Wow that’s a memory and a dream to hold on to. My favourite show as a kid and well done for preserving it
When I saw the view from the control panel I was tearful you transported me back to my eye view as a kid. Thank you for charging my batteries and stay safe. Keep up the wonderful work. Genius you are
When I go there it transports me back in time to when I was a kid. Last year I started building dioramas of my favorites scenes from the series. I undated this video since then. czcams.com/video/MtMy55XCORQ/video.html
The circuit boards remind me of "Trip Inside The Robot", thanks!
A wonderful collection! Nearly every piece I saw, I knew which show it was from!
Absolutely amazing collection! You'd be able to start a museum with all that!
This is truly amazing! Your love for this show is beyond belief.
Wonderful collection! Thank you for sharing it with us...I never missed an episode.
Such a great job William! You took me back to my childhood. While I have a full scale B-9 in my office, and a few toys, nothing compared to your amazing collection! Thanks for sharing! God bless.
Wow William, now what you have done is the perfect pictorial definition of passion. I loved the journey you've just taken me through and thank you for the burst of nostalgic thoughts of "Lost In Space".
Just had to say that I have seen different LIS collections on CZcams and they are all impressive in their replication of the show and it's props, but your collection is the most amazing! So glad there are people like you in the world to keep a wonderful show like Lost in Space alive! When you went in the control room and out of the airlock to the outside was AMAZING!!!
Thanks, Actually there are two flight consoles, a detailed working one in my basement with just a painted exterior mural outside of the viewport and another less detailed flight console in my downtown building that also includes the exterior set. Editing made it seem like you went directly from the working control deck in my basement to the other one with the airlock and exterior campsite.
@@williamhedges1519 Wow! Great editing! I loved all the references to various episodes, such as the alien fruit in the lab, the statue from "Blast Off into Space" that Dr. Smith made, and the "Follow the Leader" mummy! My bother and I watched LIS every Wednesday night on channel 2. I was 6 and my brother was 8. My younger sister discovered it in reruns. I had a crush on Billy Mumy! Every kid I went to school with would talk about the episodes on Thursday! It was such a popular show. My collection is extremley small; just some autographed 8x10's from the cast when I attended a convention in the mid-90's, and some smaller, newer made toy robots. When I was a kid, I requested at Christmas, and got the Remco toy robot, I had the lunchbox, and we had the game. Unfortunately, I didn't save them. Now I look at those items on eBay and I couldn't afford them now!
Wow , just wow! Never seen a collection so extensive!
Absolutely the best LIS collection I have ever seen! Thank you for this video!
Truly a golden museum of magical memoires :)
I too loved lost in space, shown in oz as a kid couldn't wait to go home to see what Will and old Zachary got up to next. Not to mention the beauty of the three women and bravery of doctor Robinson and Major ( you urk me ) West. What a fantastic series, many memories. I've got a small collection but this is on another level !!!
Thanks so much for this.
After the cliffhangers, I always looked forward to the next episode. I used to have a small collection but it grew after I retired and enjoyed building things.
This is astonishing, Sir. My total respect and admiration for what you have done here. It is magnificent beyond words.
Thanks so very much. Wonderful show. I am so amazed. Animals make life better. Cat loves you.
She and my other cats always like to join me when I'm there. They are great companions.
Bill you have such a wonderful collection! I watched your film, repeatedly saying, "Wow!", "How cool!". Lost In Space was my first science fiction love as a young boy. I'd love to see it for real one day. For now, I wish you the best with your ongoing LIS collection and wish you the best of health as well. ---Shiva Schuh
Incredible as in my top 10 shows of all time. Thank you for sharing.
I really love the inside of your Jupiter 2. The console and window view is awesome!
YOU are an amazing person! I hope when you look into the mirror you see the artist that has brought smiles to thousands of fans worldwide. I am in awe, as well. Thank you!
Amazing collection and a ton of work. Thanks for sharing your passion with us.
Thanks Bill, this was truly unique to watch, lovely collection!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m gobsmacked at what I just saw. That’s amazing. A lot of work & effort, well done.
I’m speechless. What an astounding collection! WOW!!
So impressive! I have always loved Lost In Space. I grew up with it in the 70s. I share your love of the show and admire your outstanding collections and displays.
It's nice that for a show that's been over for 56 years that it still is fondly remembered.
fantastic. I had several of those things as a kid. I had some big yellow jupiter 2 that you could crank wind it up and it was kind of like a gyroscope. Had a plastic robot I eventually filled with saltpeter smoke bomb stuff and burned up. had the black and white "baseball" cards. So loved the show. I was 10 when it premiered and I was already into science stuff. Well guess what, years later I got a BS in engineering, a MS in math. Became a captain in the Air Force and did and still do work on space stuff. Getting ready to retire now. But man I so remember running home from school to catch the re-runs of lost in space as there were many I did not see the first time around as a kid. Batman or the Munsters premiered the same night as I recall and I lost the choice of TV control and missed the first airing of the first episode. That episode where they first crash on the planet is to me one of the best scenes ever. Don in the freeze tube, the camera out the window showing the terrain. Great music of course.
I can't tell you how many times I've watched the "Bill's Jupiter 2" videos. This is great!
What a wonderful collection you have. It brought back so many happy memories for me.
OH MY GOD!!! THIS IS SO INCREDIBLE!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! IVE BEEN A HUGE FAN SINCE THE SHOW FIRST CAME OUT!!! AGAIN, THANK YOU!!!!
An absolutely amazing collection and presentation of Lost In Space. Thank you sharing it with us 😊
This is amazing! Your dedication to Lost In Space is awesome! Excellent work! I love your cat, too! 🐱 🐈 😺
INCREDIBLE!....like Disney Land for us old Lost in Space Fans!
Your collection is absolutely amazing. The attention to detail is incredible. And one day, after this pandemic is over I would love to take a tour of your collection. Thank you for posting.
This is truly amazing - your work is absolutely incredible!
That's Simply Amazing!!! I would love to visit!!!!! Keep holding up you have inspired me!!!
Awesome!! You're a true superfan. Thanks for the tour. Love how your cat sits in the control viewport and watches the cosmic storm.....
Amazing collection would love to see it in person someday.
What a fabulous collection, thanks for the tour, brings back memories of the show.😊
As I watched this the word "obsessed" kept coming to my mind.....
This is very very cool. The amount of work you have put in……a labour of love. I’m stunned how good this is 👍
As incredibly impressive as this is, I love seeing that you have two cats. I have been rescuing them for decades and it's awesome seeing that two more lives have been saved . Especially by someone so dedicated and creative.
I'm glad you have been giving homes to cats also. My cat actors Judy and Penny came from an animal shelter. They are indoor cats so they kind of like it when they go to the studio and explore its simulated outdoors. They are great companions the rest of the time too and always want to be in the same room as me.
@@williamhedges1519 Thats fantastic that you took them from a shelter. There are so many cats AND dogs in need of good homes and yet people insist on going to breeders. This helps NO ONE but the breeder as often times the poor souls that are being us to breed are just that. BREEDING STOCK and nothing more. They know no real love or warmth. Just the work of breeding for a buck. I have a friend who is an ENORMOUS LIS fan and he would go ape over seeing this stuff in person. Is your place set up to give tours?
Awesome tour! Thank you for all your efforts. Most impressive.
Neat collection,I still love those early episodes and the movie, the main stars were very jealous and strange personalities,I always wanted the portable Force Field erected to protect the crew and ship.
I really admire your collection. It's great to meet a fellow fan with as much love for the show as myself. You're a true fan.😊
I can't believe what I see. It is unbelievable. I recognize all these things, of course. Please, apologize for my English, I live many thousand miles far from the USA. When I was a kid I had a repetitive dream with Lost in Space and that dream was more or less, say, an oniric try to discover the real physical place (probably in a distant and mysterious country called USA) where the Robinson's family and Jupiter II were really settled. The master of dreams gave me different answers in my dreams. But now I see that you made that scenery real. It is amazing. It is the land of heart.
That was so freaking cool loved your collection. Lost in space is my favorite show growing up as a kid also. You have just about everything there is down to the wire. Thoroughly enjoyed this video
Thanks, Coming from another big fan, I appreciate the fact that you like my efforts at accuracy.
Awesome stuff Bill. You belong on "Collector's Call". That's a show on MeTV Sunday night at 930pm EST hosted by the actress who played Blair on The Facts of Life tv show. Another awesome Irwin Allen production from the mid sixties was Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. You should make some computer props from that show.
Excellent! You just need to purchase a Cryo Tube.
Who wouldn't want to live in the Jupiter 2?
ME!!
Wow, thank you William. That was simply fantastic.
WOW, what a collection! Thanks for sharing your passion.
The coolest thing ever!
@William Hedges This is the most serious case of Lost in Space addiction I have ever seen. Happily, there is no cure for it. What you've achieved is absolutely amazing and in the process turned 70 year old me back to the 12 year old I was when it first aired. How I wished I could be on Jupiter 2 with Will Robinson. Thanks for making your passion real and sharing it with us.
Retirement brought out the kid in me, and I was able to build something that I wanted as a kid.
@@williamhedges1519 Thank goodness you did. I've subscribed.
I didn't know my jaw could just keep dropping. I'm speechless. Well done sir.
That's the most amazing collection I've ever seen! Wonderful!
Fanatstic collection. Not to mention the the galley and bridge areas. I never knew there was a Jupiter toy with a charriot dock in the side of it. Thanks for posting, brings back great childhood memories!
Thanks, Mr. Hedges!
Dang, I’m not a builder though I was a fan, especially of the first season. I turned to writing SF instead. Thanks for the tour.
At 5:17 notice the kitty watching the thunder storm !?!? Love It !
A very impressive collection and museum. I can't say how impressed I am with what you have done. Kudos to you and all the time and effort you put into it. Take care and stay well.
Impressive! I feel like I am watching an episode, thanks!
All I can say is WOW!!! I’m so impressed... and jealous. Great job, mate!!
You are the MAN! What an amazing collection and super cool home.
Thank you , i really enjoyed seeing your amazing collection .
Admiravel a coleçao desse senhor !
What an amazing collection! The attention to detail is incredible.
And a "Dali-inspired" watch! Great names for your cats!
And my wife gets after me for having expensive Remco robots!!! I’ve got to show her this, you’ve gotten me beat, boss!!!!
Now I know why I can't find any of the really Cool stuff 😮 this guy has it all
What I can't find, I make prop replicas.
