Dripping Alcohol Inks through Raw Epoxy Method Glitter

- I've made variations of what was originally called the "cow print method" and I've wanted to try this variation for awhile now. The idea is to drops inks all along what's the bottom (or top, if you prefer) rim of a tumbler covered in raw (uncoated with resin) glitter that was applied using the "epoxy method". Then use clear 91% isopropyl alcohol to send the inks flowing further and further down the tumbler. It's a beautiful effect on its own, but when left to make its own way, the inks start looking very much like pieces of coral jutting up from a coral reef in the ocean. So that was the inspiration for how I decided to finish this tumbler. The mermaid gods laughed and laughed.

I know everyone sees reefs, but I actually see seaweeds reaching for the sunlight. Either way, it's super neat.
The mermaid theme is absolutely my favorite and totally fits in with Mermay. I'd love to see another blood drip cup with vanpire decals. Or maybe iridescent drops with a unicorn decal.

When you added the alcohol to make it drop my first thought was you were making a galaxy tumbler, but when it continued to drop I saw the reef right away. ❤

Galaxy is what comes to mind on the colored bit. The white is too non space colored lol. I think it's the sparkle and the sections of green/purple that give it the galaxy vibe for me

Beautiful!! Love the colors and your choice of decals!! I accidentally did this same design!! Futzing caused mine!! I was trying to do red, white, and blue drips on glitter and ended up with red, blue, and purple-ish runs way further than I wanted!!!
