- So, I've been wanting to do this video on Ordis for quite some time. It's quite a task to get every fragment scanned and so, if you've never seen ordis' in game story before, I've put it all together for you and... added a few observations and speculations as well. I realize it's a little longer than usual but... It's ordis, you know?

One of my favorite characters in warframe... I wanted you all to know his story and... even if you do, given how much of a pain it is to put it all together, now you have a way to watch it all and remember how much of a savage my boy ordis actually is. If you let him off the chain, you better get ready for some serious shit...
Not saying if this is true... Can someone or something assemble part of an old many lost unnamed frame as a new one? Would it be cool if it's call Ordan - the broken Frame?
You are the second person to say that and... in the next video, I think I'll incorporate that into it with the abilities I was thinking about and then we can discuss that and maybe fine tune the broken cephalonframe!

TheDsIEGE I would love a frame based on Ordis before he became, well, the communities Ordis. I think it would be interesting to have him as a frame. Maybe a quest called “The Beast of Bones” the end reward being either “The Broken Frame” or “Karris” as a whole new frame, based on the original “Ordan Karris”. I would love to have a larger story based around this. I would love to know your thoughts on this.
How could anyone want to get rid of Ordis? He's a great character, and basically our best friend canonically.

Lotus?? ow rigth, Teshian?? ow rigth, and all of our other contacts can't be classified as friends since the worship us as something godlike or just like what we can give (sindicates, cetus, fortuna, cephalon simarius, darvo, baro, ertc...)
I just wished there wold be more ways for ordis to interact with us (besides dialog)

What Ordis did after Octavia's anthem actually made me cry.
I've known about Ordis' past identity as Ordan Karis for a long while, but this is the first time I've seen his backstory all pieced together.
And after hearing his dialogue during the Hunhow fight from the Octavia quest, it really hit me in the feels. Ord(anKar)is truly loves us.
I'd say he's displayed more love for us than Lotus ever has.

@@sol4453 more interesting would be tenno becoming more developed and completed (potentially jack of all trades warframe abilities) and looses connection with the warframes, but ordis pilots them. Like how umbra works
@@sol4453 Ordan Karris, however, was not around during the Era of the war with the Sentients, remember? He fought other people. Grineer and Corpus and such. his specialization would be, I think, the killing of the other factions, such as the infested, the grineer and the corpus, which he would do EXTREMELY well... However sentients would be a shortcoming I think, for him. Unless the warframe devs would be like 'Nah, the beast of bones is ACTUALLY an extreme badass and his plans that he forms, and tactics he employs actually let him fuck pretty much anything up he comes across.'
Just trying to work out how he'd be balanced out... Though I am completely aware that Warframe works in such a way that they WANT you to make broken builds because they're not scared of overpowering everything in their game to the Nth degree

Ordis is literally our only friend. Space mom left us, and everyone is trying to kill us, or hire us like mercenaries or killing machines. Ordis is so kind, even with what he’s been through.

I adore Ordis.
I'd never want to be rid of him, nor would I condemn him to become Ordan again.
However, if his body were preserved, I'd want it as a warframe.
The Ordan warframe would be incredible, though I'd feel awkward commanding it in front of Ordis, in the same way it's awkward bringing Nidus out in front of Helminth.
What if DE Did that and it could be the only unplayable frame in the game...Only Ordis could control it

With how ordis is cracking I think melding the two characters could be a interesting way to go I enjoy both and if ordan wasn't going to be some crazy new villain if we could separate the two I would enjoy seeing him as a potential ally for the new war and maybe to see a special frame or something that ordis/ordan could control would be fun too
The best voice actor in the game is whoever does Ordis.

I remember a year of 2 ago Steve mentioned that he was thinking about making a small quest or story about Ordis, and if I remember corectly it was about the time he spent without us, maybe we'll get to see it one day
What a funny coincidence, the next Nightwave is about cephalons
I've always had this head-canon that the Cephalon process only separates the mind from the body, therefore leaving a mindless husk behind. And what better piece of meat for the Orokin to turn into a Warframe than Ordan Karris' empty body.
But goes further deep down. Though Ordan Karris' mind no longer exists in this body, it still would have the basic Primal features of any given animal and over time could gain it's own memory from that point forward.
And what better than to have none other than THE Beast of Bones stationed as a low Guardian in the Terminus on that fateful day the Tenno turned on the Orokin.
The Beast of Bones... The Stalker!
Such an ironic twist! But like I said all personal head-canon fan fiction that I have no evidence to back up, but nothing to disprove it neither (yet).

They turn his mind into a calphalon, and his body into a warframe. That honestly makes perfect sense, especially considering he was one of the greatest Warriors of his time and would thus likely have a body to match, making him a perfect candidate for a frame. I like the idea that while the mind without the body slowly regained its memories, so too did the body without mind; not to the same extent, but just enough to give him back his sapience and spark his hatred all the higher. Perhaps, the Stalker might even still recognize his true name even if he doesn't consciously remember; that would be an interesting way to make him pause in battle, perhaps even turn him to our side (though it is unlikely).

I've played for over 4 weeks and I craved to know why ordis was broken.
I love when he cracks open because than I see his true self.
I just love the idea of a cephalon comanded frame or some body they can use to walk around. I really would like every cephalon to have a frame. Imagine Cy walking around the railjack and defending it against itruders. That would be soooo cool.

He is Brother Ordis. Whenever he says that maybe we'd sell him someday it makes me feel a burning rage at that thought that we would discard him like that. He made a holographic space mom for us, he helped us learn who we were just as much as the Lotus did. He is our only friend and has always stayed by us
One of these days, the Beast of Bones may get his revenge...

Its tough to say.. even though ordan karris is "alive"... I would like to see this incorporated into broken frame.
Its very misleading but the things ordan karris says at 18:36 , and other spots do sound like a setup for broken frame.
But really it can be something completely different.
sadly can't be since in his lore he's canonically an orokin warrior who was one of the highest ranking ones who betrayed the orokin who was then turned into a cephalon
I hope that when the ordis quest comes he can get a body. However I'm afraid that he will turn on us the moment that he gets the body cause the beast must hate us since we are part of his suffering. I really want a mission in which we help ordis. He deserves some peace and quiet.

Ordis' backstory reminds me of Umbra. Instead of the Sentients, he hates the Orokin.
And he's connected to Ballas as well, making me ponder upon Line 32, The Broken Frame would fit him the best.
Also making me think, since Ballas introduced him to us, is he actually evil, or is he the good one? So baffled rn

You know a long time someone on Tumblr posted a quote form ordis and one of the operators voices you can choose. In it he exclaims that somebody gave him a the body and he asks what does the operator like it? IDK if this was a cut content or a hoax but it seem to have all of the right sounding voice actors.

What was the frame?
Now here's a thought. What if either the child Ordan mentions or one of the two who's bones he had in his skull are the Stalker? The destruction of the Orokin conceivably killed any chance of getting Ordan back. That could definitely piss someone off enough to vow revenge on the Tenno. Could also explain how Hunhow knows Ordis is actually Ordan since he was using the Stalker at that point.
It very well could be... I'll have to look into that a bit further, could be some fire from that smoke...

Thank you, I appreciate that. The narrative can at times be pretty muddy. I'm going to do a similar thing with every one of the quests in the future, I think it's a nice way to get people caught up or refreshed...

Thank you! It's a shame much of this stuff is hidden pretty deep in the game requiring a fair amount of time, work or both to uncover, but... when you get it, it's usually worth the effort.
@@TheDsIEGE I agree. A lot of times the lore is just a blurb in the middle of a battle and I end up missing half of it trying to water the ground in crimson. Nice work and thank you for piecing it all together.
Ive been saying for the last four years or so that Id LOVE either a long questline centered around Ordis and his timeline or be able to have a Ordis themed warframe that he is able to attach himself to as sort of a sentinel version of Khora. Ordis is best boy and we dont even know what he looks like.
Two things, but before: thank you for that video.
#1: I would like to see that Ordis can command warframes, which could mean that he runs around in the ship in the frame itself. I would go in spoiler mode more often if that would let him use a Warframe in the Orbiter. Also I still have my starter frame prepared for missions and would be honored if Ordis could take it.
#2 I would like to have Ordis as mission guide instead of lotus - especially later in the game.
Ordis deserves it.

I like ordis originally when I started the new strange quest I thought "cool he can get fixed now" then was proven wrong next was the cepholon fragments and once again I thought " I can fix me lil boi" and was wrong again

Ordis is what made me fall in love with warframe, lol. If I could increase Ordis frequency I would. I would literally pay to have everything in my game be ordis

As I understand it, it is just the name given to the operation itself, but in the same vein as the name of the armada. The orokin or golden race had their war against the sentients with their own spear or fleet, and now we have our version of it. Bear in mind there's no lore that I've found really making a distinction so, this is just me connecting the dots...
The name Scarlet spear holds no deeper meaning here, it's just a penis joke by DE.

I adore Ordis, to the point I kept that message from when you did that quest for Octavia. I hope DE can expand more on him in the future.
Remember having different plans for Ordis than piloting a warframe in my old quest concept, bit more dedicated warmachine designed to be controlled by cephalons but it also involved other cephalons who have a similar background as Ordis, former great warriors who went against Orokin, so we could summon any of them as a companion but one of them needs to remain on ship so we would have 2 ship cephalons in case if we want to summon one of them
I didn't knew that you could silence ordis, but it wasn't something I needed.

Thankful you did this. I never had an issue with Ordis, but when I found his back story... it did change my view of him dramatically. He tried to do exactly what the Tenno ended up doing... kill the Orokin once and for all (though I think there's more to that we don't know)
Ordis is a victim of the Orokin, just like the Tenno appear to be... the perfect cephalon for us in other words
Mind blown. I always figured it was a simple completionist Quest. I never realised there was a story behind it, or rather within each fragment. Really interesting that Ordis references the Scarlet Spear... And now we have the Scarlet Spear Op'. Remnants of the Old War again. Wow, what have DE got up their sleeves? I don't want to know, but I can't wait to find out.
I remember reading a while back (though cannot remember where) , that there could be a quest where Ordis becomes a Frame. Sounds like the little guy has been through a lot!

I love Ordis a lot, and when I found out about his past it made him even more interesting. He's one of my favorite characters in the game, and I honestly wish to know more about him; I hope we can get a quest about him, and not a short one either.

I've always found Ordis kinda endearing (i'm in the same boat of having people find me annoying) and I always felt like there was much more to them. This has been a godsend and answers so many questions (and idk how i'd hug a Cephalon, but I want to hug him)

to me the "Ordan Karris" model seems to resemble that of the warframes, and he seemed to have the strength to single-handedly kill dax soldiers, so maybe he was a warframe? Maybe we would get a "Beast of The Bones" quest where we get to build the multi-eyed Ordan with bone related abilities instead of the broken frame as some people suggest?
This honestly makes me crave for more lore about ANYTHING in Warframe... they did such a good job building Ordis as a character

I like to think of ordis as a sort of grandparent or something with dementia, he tries to help and protect you, but there's only so much he can do, and his memories are kinda messed up. He also has moments where he makes some strange decisions or switches to the violent version for a bit but seems confused afterwards like he knows something happened but can't quite remember

Nora mentioning a broken Cephalon in the last devstream's Glassmaker preview...this comes out at absolutely the perfect time. It'd be phenomenal if Glassmaker involved Ordis more directly and changed some things about him by the end, but that's unfortunately doubtful to happen. Still, a Nightwave dealing with something as core to Warframe as Cephalons is pretty huge. I can't wait to dive in.

I already knew of ordis story before I even finished colecting the fragments. But I went and did it anyways. There is this feeling still, really deep down beneath, that I want Ordan Karris to be by my side in the battlefield. Remember, what had drawn him to the battlefield was companionship, a sense of belonging. Profit was consequence, not the goal. A companion like that is a friend for life.

The first moment I heard that the new community frame is the broken frame I wanted it to be ordin karris, the broken former body of Ordis held together with void energy or something. Well I know that will only be fantasy but I really want an ordin karris frame.
