AlwaysJulie 올웨이즈줄리 well me at times people would be shock when they hear me speak Spanish because I’m not the stereotype of a Latina. And more since I live in Houston and majority of Latinos are Mexican and was often told are you Mexican and I have to say no. Not all Latinos are Mexican and they’ll ask me so where are you from and I would say Honduras 🇭🇳 and they would ask if it was in Mexico 🤦🏻♀️ and I’m like no it’s a different country.

I miss you where have you been
you only know what you experience or are exposed to. it wasn't until more recent times(within 50 years time) with advancement in technologies like the internet that we are able to see other countries more clearly. in old days we only would learn about our own countries the most and very little on others because we only had old books or some tv to watch...so not very informative. nowadays we can see how others are living in real time over Skype/Zoom. so it will take time for people to get comfortable in something that relatively new to everyone. many people still not know how to use their Iphones let alone be up to date on another country's cultures. so we just happen to grow up during a transition period of communication that will take some time to adjust to. i hope u will learn to love yourself better and be happier. i will love and pray for you! 🥰😎🙏
I totally understand what you mean. Sometimes, I also feel like the world is evolving at a pace where we can't keep up with it! My hope is that transformation of this world can enhance us human beings living here to stay healthier, happier for much longer :)
