The people most impacted personally by Batman/Bruce's death would be Fox, Selina, Blake, Gordon and Alfred, all of whom are given closure by the auto-pilot patch, the pearls gone missing, the coordinates to the batcave with climbing gear, the bat signal fully repaired, and Bruce's visit to the cafe in Italy, respectively. And if that's not enough, there is no reason Alfred would imagine Bruce with Selina as he's completely unaware they ever met again after she stole the pearls and then stole his car. If anything he would have imagined Miranda, whom he had no idea was Talia all along.

I think Bruce is obviously alive. My theory is , Bruce left robin the coordinates to the bat cave, and instructed Alfred to go along with it but knew he faked his death. And Bruce, robin and cat woman would retreat to the cave eventually and work alongside each other. Soon down the line they’d reach out to fox, let him in and have his help customizing the bat cave. I absolutely refuse to believe that bruce just retired, especially just retiring with the cat woman. I think they would’ve assembled a team like in the tv show and worked off grid. And I also think that would create the illusion amongst the people that Bruce died, and Batman survived giving Bruce complete anonymity.

I think its best for Warner bros to sell the rights of Christopher Nolan's batman to Sony and legendary in order to make this happen. I know that Sony is known for spiderman and they get every comic book right. But under Sony and legendary it can happen, because legendary is also known for it's dark knight trilogy and the man of steel. I'd like to know your thoughts on it.
