Stupid quick comment just because I'm an immigrant where I live and I appreciate small language corrections: In the word "Debt" in Engish, the "b" is silent. Because... it's English -- we just insert letters into words for fun. I haven't even made it through the video yet. Sooo looking forward to it! From the finances page it looked like his balance was projected to go up. Which means that he uses less money than his budget. So the 1st every month he will get money added equal to the amount of budget he didn't use. You can also se his balance at the bottom after Alula Tour where it says +14k.
Loved the tactic change to breakaway and win. Sprinting will get timed eventually with enough practices haha.

I find that it is the best to launch the sprint before the 1km sign because sometimes the AI will take a bit while to get into the speed for the sprint.
Lead out untill 400 meters. The sprint is over by then in PCM needs to start sprinting so much earlier

Js finished watching the other cycling manager video and then this one came out lets goo this made my day
In PCM 2022 i won a stagerace with a 3,5 star rider, because i was leading the race and he somehow made it in to the break just by pacing at the front. The peloton then didn't pace because i had the leader and he won by 20 minutes. It is really weird how you have to pace with the leaders jersey otherwise they protest. Also dumb how you can put your sprinter in the last position of a train on hilly terrain and the other sprinters will try to follow and block the road no matter how hard the pace or if there is any points to sprint for.
since you talked about the mountain at the ttrofeo serra trarnutana, if you go a mountain up with like 85 the mountain stat isn't that important. You should look more for medium mountain with these climbs, it's similar to the hill stat that starts to kick in at 86/90ish
What's the effort range for MM stat?
Medium mountain stat - keep in mind that between 0 and 7% slope it's a decreasing mix of flat and (mo/mm/hil depending on your effort), and above 7% it's only (mo/mm/hil depending on your effort):
> 0-77 effort: pure MO
> 82 effort: half MO/half MM
> 87 effort: pure MM
> 91 effort: half MM/half HIL
> 95 effort: pure HIL

@@pay_to_lose_ thanks that is really helpful. I knew some of it like 95 hill but I thought pure MM was 88 and it was just Mountain until 84 which always seemed like quite a small range, not sure where I got that from.
I bought the game recently, but have still been struggling a lot, especially in the earlier stages of a race. If I try to control the Peloton, my riders run out of energy and if I don't control the Peloton, my positioning for the final sprint is just horrible. Could you maybe show a full race, showing how you ride in the earlier stages of the race? Or upload a separate tutorial?
Select all riders. Right click on a random rider in the Peloton, between positions 10 and 20 'take position'. Play with the effort on hilly and mountain stages to stay in the wheels, but not overspend. Relay on low effort is key to stay in the wheel for breakaways.

There's advanced ways to make it work but I found it too difficult so never tried it.

Zeno Levi Winter, the 1st guy on the list was actually a very good U17 rider last year, he won the Course de la Paix for example and is now riding for the U19 team of Bahrain Victorious.
