Craft Room Cabinet Build

My Mom started a new hobby and the equipment was piling up. She needed a good storage solution and some counter space. So Bob Barker and I decided to make this cabinet no help her get organized. Its a stand alone cabinet with a few drawers and open shelving.

Good work man. Love the black and the white oak top. Question for ya, how come u didn’t just flush trim the face frame where the drawers go too like u did for the shelves? That way u wouldn’t need the spacer for the drawer slides cus of the lip. Just curious

Thanks! and for your question: The face frame is about 1 1/4 inch thick (except for the middle piece) and the plywood is 11/16. So, I would have to remove just over a half an inch to make that work and those sections would be much thinner than the rest of the face frame. The overlap for the drawer faces would cover it, but I prefer to keep the face frame uniform.
