That is awesome! My husband tells me one of his favorite memories is when his Dad took him alone to breakfast made him feel special then his dad did it for his daughter too😊

Well, I know it was disappointing not to be able to go to Castaway Cay, but it looks like you guys turned it into a really fun and memorable day, minus poor Bella's food poisoning. Thanks for vlogging your cruise for us! I'm not going to be on the Wish when I go on my first-ever Disney cruise in December 2024, but this at least gives me an idea of what I might see. I am so surprised they have a laundry mat!!!
That’s why we always get off at Nassau and do a beach day. Just in case the weather is not good at Castaway. That’s what happen to us last year, we had a beautiful hot beach day at Blue Lagoon Island and a cold rainy day at Castaway.
Oh gosh poor Bella 🥺🥺 that sounds awful and in true toddler fashion- add to the laundry as you’re doing laundry. And I’m sorry you weren’t able to go to Castaway Cay- that week there was crazy weather! We were in Disney at the same time and it rained the whole week, I was worried it impacted your cruise too. Just an excuse to cruise again right? 😉 also I LOVE how Lucy enjoys the kids club!
Aww poor kiddo. As someone prone to all sorts of tummy trouble I felt for her. Food poisoning is never a fun. I’m sorry yall weren’t able to enjoy Castaway Cay. 😔 Maybe Lord willing yall can do another cruise in the future and it will be smoother sailing ⛵️ 😉

What time of year did you do your cruise? We are thinking of going next year and was wondering if there’s a certain time of year Castaway Cay is more likely to have rough weather.
With all the reports of norovirus and food poisoning at all Disney places over the years, I’m wondering how everyone still has the guts to eat anywhere there. I’ve had it twice visiting 2 out of 3 trips this past year, my sister once, lots of lawsuits but yet Disney isn’t commenting on it and denies it and people are still flocking to eat there. I don’t get it. As much as I love Disney, I’ll be steering clear of the food for a while.
Disappointed about missing Castaway Key due to the weather, but loved the family time onboard! 💕 Bella's trooper spirit is inspiring!

We just got off a RC cruise last week and same thing happened to us for thier private island.

Sadly it was skipped completely! Hoped they would switch it with out sea day but they didn't.
So do your kids get fed at the children’s center? You keep having meals without one or the other, so I’m assuming your kids will eat at their clubs?
Probably. I haven't cruised Disney, but on Carnival they feed the kids if they are there during meal times.
If you are eating lunch or dinner with only one girl, then the other one eats separately at the different time?
If it's the same as Carnival, then they offer meals to kids in the kids club.
