    Mike’s family was so nice to take the blind man in after his aunt and uncle died . What a wonderful family they are . That touched my heart the man wasn’t alone in his last years .

      And On both sides of the racial lines at that, families didn't talk. I heard virtually nothing from my mother, whose formative years were in Kentucky, or from my Aunt (mom's sister) whose formative years were spent in the north. I'd like to know how that happened. No one said. Now there is no one left to speak.@@Fuzzmom903

      I have two neices that are from my half sister , their grandfather , my moms first husband died of an anyerism along with his sister and his parents all died of cancer or an anyerism ..their mother , my sister died suddenly in 2004 of we thibk an anyerism ..these gkirls dont worry about their health or their daughters health ..my Mom has 4 Gr GRANDAUGHTERS SHE HASNT SEEN IN OVER A YR ..SHE IS 92 YRS OLD...L

    I absolutely love listening to Mike tell stories. He sounds like home people to me. That poor lady who never lay down for fear of a haint getting her! Mr. Dan is a great story teller too. I really enjoyed this history, Robert. Good job!

    I found it interesting, that being out in the woods, how modern some of the Graves were. It's sad that some Graves are unmarked, and largely forgotten

    I am enjoying these videos with Mr. Buckner. He reminds me of my Papaw (1913-1999); that man could tell you about every farm in east-central IL and west-central IN. I loved to listen to him talk and tell stories.

      @@cdd4248 I actually do plan on writing an autobiography for my kids & grandkids. Mainly so I can pass along my memories of all the special people they barely knew, or never knew at all.

    Robert my darling. It grieves me to no end to see long forgotten graves and gravestones from long ago. The memories that are buried with each grave. The stories that could be told of times that use to be. We are all headed in the same direction. I pray my lord and savior will be there to receive me when it is my time to go. Until next time.     That was a very cool video! That baptisimal pool!! There had to be a small spring that fed into it. Imagine the folks who found the spring and decided to make good use of it and built that concrete tank.🎉 I could listen to both Mike and Dan all day long!! They know so much history and their southern accents are a joy to my ears as I am from Arkansas.

    I enjoy going to visit places that has alot of past history 😊
    And learning about what happened back then and looking for old graves and when I ,see any children's graves I, say a prayer for the child, and say RIP

    You all are a wonderful group of caring and knowledgeable people and I really enjoy your channel. Mr. Buckner and Mr. Dan can remember a lot of history first hand, and it's so sad that the church was moved, leaving behind the family members and brothers and sisters for nature to overtake their resting place.     What an interesting man! SO knowledgeable and as someone from the North (Ohio) I just love his accent! It’s a shame more families don’t keep up with their families genealogy more. So much of who you are as a person comes from a relative in your past. I personally find that amazing!

    I live in Fresno California, a large ag town, it's sad to see farmers lose their farms due to bad years, involving frost, drought or other bad weather. Considering that they grow a lot of tree nuts and stone fruits like peaches in Fresno County, I can sympathize with those farmers.

    I know of a an obscure cemetery in Winston Cty Alabama. You would never find it if you didn’t know where it was was.
    Winston county seceded from the Confederacy during the Civil War.

    Oh, I can remember from back when I was a kid, some Searcy black folks in our area...we all lived together in the same communities back then, our nearest neighbor (across the pasture) was Aunt Sarah and Uncle Isiah, who I well remember and dearly loved. LOVE all this history and exploring cemeteries.

    Amazing to see the 2012 grave in the second cemetery site. Hard to believe anyone would be buried there past the 1940s much less 2012!

    I really enjoyed this video. Mike and Dan have a treasure trove of historical knowledge. Makes me wished I had asked more questions when my grandparents were still alive. My grandfather owned a farm that was passed down through several generations. I'm sure he had some stories to tell.

    More great history...After watching your videos we have been doing the same..At Land Betwen the Lakes we found an interesting grace...Born 1771 died 1868...Which means he lived through revolutionary war,War of 1812 and civil war...AMAZING!!
