the opening movement is one of my favourite pieces of music.
Always thought this was such a stunningly beautiful piece of work, and this version is the most poignant I have ever heard.
THIS PIECE IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITES THANKYOU SO MUCH.
GEORG FRIEDRICH HAENDEL {HALLLE 1685-1759 LONDRES} CONCERTOS GROSSO OP. 6 N°11. {HWV 319-330}.Une merveille, musique et orchestre grandiose bravo. Le concerto GROSSO , inventé en Italie par STRADELLA et CORELLI, s'est répandu rapidement à travers toute l'Europe. Mais les innovations créatrices de HAENDEL surpassent le modèle italien et brillent particulièrement par leur richesse stylistique et leur force expressive. Merci pour ce CONCERTOS GROSSO OP. 6 N° 11 de HAENDEL qui est un chef-d'œuvre sublime.

The painting is Lady Hamilton as "Nature” , by George Romney, and is exhibited at the Frick Collection, New York, NY.

This concerto has benn adapted in concerto for the organ. The initial form of concerto grosso gives us a better insight on its architecture. The interpretation is nervous, well adapted to the style of the concerto.

it's not zooming in, that's an optical illusion. If you look at the edges you will see the same section all the time but if you look at the centre then your eyes contempate for the stillness by flickering which gives the illusion of stillness

I really do. As a matter of fact, Bach and Schubert are my favourite composers. I also very much love the music by Handel, Vivaldi, Schumann and Brahms. Thank you for your interest.
