Why Do I Need a Pacemaker?
Slow heart rates are fixed with pacemaker. Many terms you will hear are Bradycardia, Brady-Arrythmia, or even Complete Heart Block. A Complete Heart Block, also known as a 3rd degree heart block, is when the upper half of the heart, is no longer talking to the bottom half of the heart. Pacemakers replace the natural "wires" within the heart, helping it to beat regularly and at an appropriate speed.

This is a prime example of a doctor I wouldn’t let change my car tire let alone perform a delicate surgery. Just listen to his abject indifference about those potential complications. “Oops we collapsed your lung” “oh darn we pierced your heart”. You guys are more terrifying than the conditions your treating.

His desk is a mess! All that crap all around it. If I were a patient walking into his office and seeing all of that, I would turn right around and walk out. Totally unprofessional, I wouldn't let him touch me either.

After I got mine installed I just get this huge fatigue from it. The fatigue is just killing my life. I can barely think anymore and it seems no matter what I am tired 95% of the time. I wish I had never done it. Doctors are crap every time I listened to them it has gone from bad to f*cking worse.

Got my dual chamber pacemaker October 7 2021, everything was great until I woke up in the middle of it, when the doctor was cauterizing the wound. OW. They put me back under anesthesia. More energy and not out of breath so much. Unfortunately I use mine alot, AV BLOCK and bradycardia due to lymes disease 9 years ago.But I'm still going boondocking in my campervan build. 🙂😉😊

I woke up in the middle of mine, too. I started asking the doctor questions while he was concentrating on the monitor where he could watch in real time what he was doing. I startled the heck out of him when I began bombarding him with questions. He got the nurse to knock me out again. I thought it was fascinating. I should have kept my mouth shut and observed. I don't remember feeling any pain or discomforts.

@@Julia-uh4li I remember trying to move away fm the pain when I woke up in the middle of surgery, that's why he called the anesthesiologist over, it HURT a lot. He couldn't continue until I was out. I just got my monitor yesterday, exactly 2 months later. I am chomping at the bit to get out on the road to Nevada, Arizona. Also just got my new lens for my camera. Wild mustang's here I come!!

How can I survive my next surgery , I’m having one in couple months like a replacement. Last time I had surgery didn’t go so well. My heart stop and I went to cardiac arrest but luckily I was revived back. But is there ways I can keep my heart more healthy, and having a great successful surgery.
