I remember when pre-patch AI's were broken. My friend tried to unlock Captain Falcon & it was like Fatality was playing it himself lol.

Them CPU's were annoying when trying to unlock them but I was able to do it all before the patch came out.
I wish they still had hard CPUs. Kazuya CPU week 1 and the Sephiroth challenge were so fun back then

@@jankounchained4211 It could be just me but I noticed he doesn't fish for as many footstool combos anymore. Maybe they adjusted the AI or something. He certainly doesn't feel as intimidating as he did a couple months ago

I actually loved the difficult CPU's. It wasnt the same with vs Sephiroth on his hardest difficulty but that too was fun.
The best way for me to get that same excitement is playing world of light without spirits.
I have like 98% of Ultimate completed.
Well, good thing they were never changed then. The only thing they nerfed was the ai for unlock battles.

7:03 It's interesting to think how Diddy is the only character which relies part of its moveset on an item they spawn which has received a nerf in this part of his tool kit (even twice), while all the others were considered fine despite they too can do disgusting things with their item. They really feared Smash 4.

I remember in 2019 when I was at a local tourney. Was playing Fox against this Wolf, and he killed me at 35% at the ledge (on town and city) with a down smash. Broken move for sure

6:18 to be fair, greninjas ledge grab is awful, you really don’t need to two frame him at all, the box where he grabs ledge is at his stomach.
When this game came out I had never played more than 10 minutes of smash before and all the homies went to a friends house and just played random stage, random character, items on with like 8 people to unlock everyone and I kept winning then losing to the CPUs and because I was so ass we didn’t unlock all the characters until 6am
you should just do a full video on kazuya's moveset if you want to know how broken smash is.

@@drcreed6320 Lmao it's kinda silly when you think about it. At least in Tekken having the broken move actually places him near the top. In Smash it's like you fail neutral forever then finally win one exchange and take the stock. I can understand why some people dislike playing against the guy

@@lyrics2challenged Yes. Hes so slow and struggles so much with platform pressure. His matchup spread is awful. His advantage state is great, but its no better than other TOD characters like Luigi or Peach. His projectile is unusable and his normals have some awful framedata which makes neutral a gimmick fest of reading an option or trying to start a EGWF string out of a shieldgrab. He gets comboed endlessly, and really doesnt have too many recovery mixups, even if the distance on his recovery isnt bad. I disagreed with riddiles initially, but after seriously playing him offline, he is super underwhelming.

I know ZSS sucks is a meme. She’s def an amazing character. But fr she did not deserve those nerfs. Not to her nair or flip kick. The ground time nerf is fine. But the others were just dumb.
I think there's only 5 broken characters. That have dumbly designed moves that carry the characters. For me they are; pikachu, joker, game and watch and Rob and if I had to add a fifth, mythra. But I actually think pyra/mythra are fine as they are.
No such way to break unless you break the rules within the software.

Perfectly balanced
I see people complain about Peach’s float cancels doing full damage a lot. If the Peach short hop floats it doesn’t do full damage. It’s usually used for combo extensions from my understanding. Full hop floats do full damage though.
The full damage comes from Peach cancelling a full hop into a float.
