    Ty so much for this video! I had been searching on how to make the text stickers for a long time. Your instructions were very clear and I don't have a cutting machine so I just use old fashioned scissors lol The stickers I've made are just for personal use in my planner. Hi there, thank you for the video! Question about doing a sticker white background for and image with text-do you have a video doing that? I tried using the method you explained and it looks funny. Is there a way to adjust the border? For example if it is too thick or you want to smooth out one areas? Thanks so much!

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  Před rokem

      I don't have a video on how to do that BUT if you're using Canva you can adjust the thickness by clicking on the dots on top of the "glow" option and from there you can adjust the thickness. If you use Silhouette design space you can do many more adjustments since Canva isn't the best for stickers. Hope this helps!!

    Thanks so much for the info! Totally helps. I had to roll back my photo editor though as I had the new one on Canva Pro. One thing you mentioned... you had an image with a heart and little lines bursting out and said that was more complicated. I am trying to connect a text box to an image as well, so that it forms one solid sticker. I wonder if you had any tips on it that?

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  Před rokem +1

      You're very welcome! So I would try to group the text box and image together, then download that from Canva. Then re upload that back into Canva so that you can put an outline around it. Hopefully this makes sense and helps! That's the only thing I could think of that would work in this situation 😊

    Love your videos, Megan! I’ve learned so much from you! Now I’m trying to learn how to create thematic quote sticker sheets where each is different. If I understood you, I need to create the quote, save the entire document as a png, upload that in order to add the outline, save it again once I’ve added it, and finally upload each individual “sticker” on to a new page. Does that sound right? Thanks again for everything!

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  Před 11 měsíci

      SVG is a vector file meaning it has layers so it's typically used for cutting machines. PNF is higher quality than JPEG but if you're not using a cutting machine, I'd recommend either of those. Hope this helps!

    Thanks so much for all this great information! Newbie, here, so I'm wondering how the customer will cut these out. Will it be by hand, or Cricut/Silhouette? Edited to add: I just went to print it and there is no outline. What if my customer wants to cut it out by hand? There is no outline and the background is white, because I don't want to use a colored background to use up the customer's ink. TIA

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  Před rokem +1

      If you upload this into the Cricut or Silhouette software, it should recognize each individual sticker and cut them out. The only way to create an outline around each sticker if they want to cut by hand would be to use Silhouette. Canva isn't the best for this. Hope this helps!!

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan

      There isn't a way to do the white background to my knowledge unless you save the script image, then re upload it back into Canva.
