DJ Khalid is a true inspiration to us all! He shows that you can have literally zero talent and still become famous. Truly incredible!
you can only be famous without talent if you can talk crap confidently into the camera. So that is the talent needed.

A producer isn't just someone who makes beats. It can also be someone who curates and arranges all the parts of the song. From the artist performing on it, the beats used(even ones he didnt make), structure, etc. That's what Khaled does. You're so uninformed and it shows.
What do you do? What’s your truth?
wow, you really exposed him man. I mean, everything you said is freely available to look up and isn't denied by Khaled, but thank you for saying it anyway.
Khalid gives song concepts to already established artists and pick the beat for the song. He also promotes it. All of that combined is how he gets points on a record.
Personally I feel the artists don’t need him but that’s just my opinion.

His true talent is talking on the phone, getting artists to pullup to the studio

Seriously though, Khaled did used to produce like more than 10 years ago. He gets justifiably roasted and clowned on but that small snippet isn't enough to judge his actual production skills. Most of my beats start out as those shitty sounding drums.

You guys have no idea what a hardworking genius this man is. "Iced out my arms" is a good example: He bought a beat from Metro Boomin and Southside and had the brilliant idea to put a Future hook and verses from 21 and the Migos on it. That was something unheard of back in 2017. After that he paid a team to mix and master his innovative and daring creation and someone to put it on his CZcams and Spotify account. Dont forget the "DJ Khaaaaaled" , "Another one" etc. and that he paid a camera team to take pictures of his half naked son for the cover.
Its really mind-boggling how he didnt burn out after all these years of hard work.
This is some high level satire. Truly

For all those fans making fun of Khaled they have no idea how beat making works. You don't just seat down most days and automatically have a hit record. A producer may get 1 decent track from 5 beats and they have to be as open minded as possible.
On my mama nem you ain't lying yo
Yeah but u at least put something good down b4 u film it 😂😂
Straight facts, they don't know the struggle
You're right, but that doesn't change the fact that the beat was trash! It happens.🤷🏾♂️
You're not wrong. Khaled's only problem is that he's not a guy who shows the 'process." He's a guy who only post "greatness"....*we the best".."legendary"..."winning"
His social media is like a highlight reel. So dropping this in the middle of it is like you're watching Kobe Bryant highlights and all of a sudden it cuts to Kobe just slowly dribbling the ball up the court and looking tired. I think that's why everybody jumped on it. It's messy, incomplete and probably never going to actually sound good. Nothing wrong with that, but people don't expect to see the ugly parts of how the sausage is made on his account. He set this tone.
So people hear a beat in the beginning stages and think it's a finished product
The MPC Isn't even turned on fam. This is all cap.
I was living in Paris, producing house music and this dj came up to me in a club and asked if he could make some tracks with me, so I invited him over, he sat down in the studio and didn't know what to do, so I asked if he wanted me to show him, he said no I'll just tell you my ideas and you lay them down for me, basically make his tracks for him, he went away and was telling everyone about the tracks that HE produced!!!
We all have ideas, but not everyone can realise them

Man anyone (ANYONE) who's produced a beat knows that it gets revamped over and over before it's completed. Real artist knows to trust their process if they had previous success. Especially if it's from scratch.
Ever seen Khalid play the guitar? Yeah, that's really all you need to see to understand how musically untalented this man is. The rap industry has completely thrown anything that relates to real musicianship out the window in favor of a pompous, flashy, greedy, and proud fashion show where wannabe gangsters talk about shooting up the block while being businessmen.
The truth is, he is the face and pinnacle of a genre that is based solely on LYING and DECEIVING the public. Aka, ACTING, just like the hollywood kids who are born into millions but claim they never had any help, or billionaires saying they work endlessly from a poor background only to find out their parents literally owned a mine for jewels and he was born with 50 silverspoons..
By all means though, push your buttons and down a cup of purple til the beat sounds "fresh" and it "slaps" while bobbing your head to being completely stoned and lethargic.

The only difference is my music is intentionally bad.
This is why I didn't make music with people in the room. Wasn't shit wrong with that beat at that stage. It's an MPC3000, it doesn't produce for you.
💯 Facts. It’s easy to tell that most of these people talkin’ smack in the comments can’t produce anything but lip service. This beat had that Slick Rick feel that a lot of cats know nothing about these days. I’d say that for the style it’s a good start if that’s what he’s going for. Producing and beat making are different he only puts things together which can make a hit record with the help of popular artists if it was easy then everyone would do it
A lot of hit songs today are sampled not stolen or copied from other songs that might sound familiar
No it is easy for musicians. You know what makes it hard for us? We don’t got his money. Think about it. If I had that kind of money I could buy the beats I thought were the dopest and figure out which artists I want on each of them. This a dream job. Then when it’s done organize the track listing and the album art. These are the things real producers do once they’re done with the hard work. Then this is just icing a cake what he does. Money allows him that and I guess I can’t hate on it. He ain’t no motherfucking producer though. Not in my opinion. Maybe call him a curater or something. Idk, but actually making the beats and organizing them then mixing them then writing songs to them, then getting them noticed only to realize they’re trash and your new shits better, then to do this over and over and Gradually get better but never better enough. I’m not saying I’m the best producer at all. But regardless of what someone thinks of my beats or mixing or whatever… I do a lot more than him and however much better anyone is on CZcams or wherever just know I’ll get to your level. I will. That’s inevitable. Foregone conclusion. Just a matter of time now. Check my shit out though anyone who has time. I put it together like an EP. you can go to my channel and scroll the videos or you can go the channel playlists tab and click on the collection Vol 1 and listen to it in the order I pieced it together and intended it to be heard. Anyway the intro is called SZA type and it is an INTRO.. don’t let it scare any of you away from the rest of the beats on the album. It’s not for everyone but it’s an intro. Skip it if you don’t like it. It’s the only one like that on there. I think the shits dope lol. I’d appreciate honest feedback over subscriptions any day but if you do subscribe please don’t come back in three days and unsubscribe please don’t bate me into subscribing to your channel and then take away the sub on my channel after. That’s crazy people do that. Anyway, like I said honest feedback will help Waymore than subscriptions on my CZcams channel cause CZcams Channel is not gonna make or break me, but feedback from other producers will help out alot. Honest feedback please. No ass kissing im trying to get better. If you think it’s dope though say it’s dope. Honesty thanks. Peace

That wasn’t even a bad beat?? I can see that being heat when he’s done with it
You can't be serious.
@@IHMadeThis bruh. It's literally 1 instrument from being ric flair drip.
@@Luigi777888 Sounds like a beat that someone who has never made a beat would make. Much like Ric Flair Drip.
@@IHMadeThis Because it's simple. All that's necessary is what makes the song work. Now you're disrespecting Metro Boomin to hate on DJ Khaled. Why?
@@Luigi777888 Metro Boomin has made a ton of quality beats, Ric Flair Drip is not what I would call a good beat on it's own. Saying the drum loop in this video is anything other than basic is nothing more than fandom.
Hey Khaled is so good he can make beats with an MPC that isn't even on
He’s a phony
bro i thought that shi sounded like the goosebumps intro 😭😭
That sounds like the beat I made in fruity loops 15 years ago
Fire! If it was the 80s!
@Barmelo Xanthony888 80s beats sound nothing like that man..
Sounds like a beat from the early 2000's
Fire when you mute it.
@@bobbydigital5236 YO!!!🤣🤣🤣
@@bobbydigital5236 coi leray's beat sound better than this
Co-produced by Cassidy 😬
You foul for that 😂😂😂
"Does khalid and drake have something?" "Of course we have something
sounds like a beat i made on my old yamaha back in 1985 lol
Khaled has been in the game since the 90s and worked with Puff and Biggie. Dude can’t be “weak” and has came this far. 😂😂😂
His MPC wasn't even on bro.
Dj Khaled and rap darke on goat 🐐 💯 😎
A new song soon 2022 💪💪💪💪💪
Is there a method to producing on an MPC and the LED screen isn’t active. Like no info? Masterful!
RZA makes Khalid look like a 4 day old baby compared to a wise old man when it comes to the craft of producing bangin beats
Dont get me started with Subroc and he resting in power
Give dude some time. He’ll be beast mode in about a month on it
The things those shoes must’ve been through carrying Khalid around, rip
No soles of your shoes break apart like that when you don’t wear them for a long period of time. He probably haven’t wore those shoes much.
They got the weight of the world holding them down. Khaled has the whole city on his back
0:34 me on incredibox
To be fair, he just started making the beat. It was like 5% there.
Lol that beat was actually kind of dope and yes, sometimes producers like to try to make stuff sound dated on purpose because they are trying to fit a certain genre that is old-school… If anyone knew a fraction of what he knew, then they could realize that all of the drum sounds are actually good rhythm and have some syncopation to them and this is just the building block of a track when there is no Melody or extra ear candy involved… This is just a backing track with drums and bass
Mental gymnastics
@@SoLowDolo no. the process of making a beat mostly doesn't look or sound very cool as it does in your fav tv shows and movies. you are essentially programming. been doing this for 12 years now.
that said:
most likely Khaled doesn't have a clue what he's doing.
That nigga DJ Khaled definitely on the spectrum
LMFAO
This guy is the steven seagal of the rap world.
It’s crazy they thought that lil clip of him “finding” the tone of the beat was the finished product… world is crazy bro 😂
he busted out with the Paula Abdual Beat 1994, Props the the Real Producer OG YOUNG GURU ROCNATION TERROR SQUAD.
