Whats up, its ShadyRiku here and welcome to my Magic Guide for Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, part of KH1.5 HD Remix. Throughout the game you learn a variety of magic spells to help on your journey and each of these can be upgraded twice to their most powerful form. Once Sora learns a spell, Donald (as well as Ariel & Jack Skellington) get access to these spells and their subsequent upgrades.
The following is in the same order as the Magic command (the list of spells when you go to cast magic).

-Taught to Sora by Donald once Guard Armour in Traverse Town has been defeated.

-Learnt after Defeating Jafar (Genie) in Agrabah

-Given to Sora by the Princesses of Heart once Hollow Bastions Keyhole has been sealed.
*Blizzard: 1:58
-Given to you by the Cheshire Cat for finding the "Clawmarks" evidence in Wonderland.
-Given to you by the Cheshire Cat after sealing Wonderland's Keyhole, if you didn't find the "Clawmarks" evidence.
*Blizzara: 4:17
-Learnt after Defeating Jafar in Agrabah.
Blizzaga: 4:44
-Learnt by Defeating the 40th seed in the Hades Cup, Behemoth (The Hades cup is unlocked at the Olympus Coliseum once Hollow Bastion's Keyhole has been sealed).
Thunder: 5:31
-Taught to Sora by Phil in the Olympus Coliseum for completing both Phil's Barrel Challenge levels within the time limit.

-Learnt after Defeating Ursula (Large Form) in Atlantica.
Thundaga: 7:53
-Learnt by Defeating the 30th seed in the Hades Cup, Cerberus (The Hades cup is unlocked at the Olympus Coliseum once Hollow Bastion's Keyhole has been sealed).
*Cure: 8:24
-Learnt after Defeating Clayton in the Deep Jungle.

-Learnt just before fighting Captain Hook.
Curaga: 9:19
-Given to you by Aerith after speaking to her 3 times in Hollow Bastion's Library (I should have mentioned in the video that Aerith can only be found in the Library once Hollow Bastion's Keyhole has been sealed).

-Learnt after winning the Phil Cup at the Olympus Coliseum (The Phil Cup is unlocked after sealing Traverse Town's Keyhole).
*Gravira: 11:04
-Learnt after Defeating Oogie Boogie (Manor Form).
Graviga: 11:40
-Learnt after Defeating the 10th seed in the Hades Cup, Hades (The Hades cup is unlocked at the Olympus Coliseum once Hollow Bastion's Keyhole has been sealed).

-Learnt after Defeating the Parasite Cage (2nd form) in Monstro.

-Learnt after completing Pooh's Swing Minigame in the 100 Acre Woods (The area is unlocked by returning the 3rd Torn Page & after completing the previous 2 Torn Page Minigames. Check out my Minigames Guide and my Torn Pages Guide for everything you need).

-Learnt by Defeating the Phantom at Neverland's Clock Tower (The fight is unlocked after sealing Hollow Bastion's Keyhole. To get to the fight, speak to Tinkerbell in the Ship: Cabin while Peter Pan is on your team).

-Learnt by Defeating Opposite Armour in Traverse Town.
Aerora: 15:19
-Inside a chest in the room behind the Yellow Trinity in Neverland's Ship: Hold (The ability to activate the Yellow Trinity is unlocked after beating the Hercules Cup at the Olympus Coliseum. More detail is in my Yellow Trinity Guide).
Aeroga: 16:29
-Given to Sora by Pongo & Perdita for returning all 99 Dalmatians to them in the Dalmatian's House in Traverse Town's 2nd District (All Dalmatian locations are in my Dalmatians Guide).

Also for anyone watching the video, for the strongest magic possible equip Sora with a keychain that increases his MP by 2 or 3 points (the former can be acquired after obtaining the basic level of all seven spells in Merlin's house, the latter from defeating the Ice Titan in Olympus Colosseum), and also equipment that boost his MP by one or two points each (such MP boosting equipment can be synthesized and two instances of equipment that boost MP by two points can be found in the game). Higher MP makes damaging spells and damaging summons exponentially stronger, Aero, Stop, and summons last longer, and Bambi to drop MP orbs that restore more MP (at 5 and 7 MP). Though, if you focus on MP over strength, Sora's physical attacks may become very weak especially against bosses.

It makes sense for Phil to give you the thunder spell because in the Hercules movie, Zeus struck him with lightning in order to get in the trade Hercules.

I crafted 3 cosmic arts lol, I have 18 MP and climbing xD only level 70
Wait, isn't Gravity optional? You claim you can skip the Thunder spell entirely, but then claim Gravity which is later in the Olympus Coliseum storyline isn't optional. Oogie Boogie and his manor are optional bosses which is why he gets stronger after Kairi is rescued, similar to Ursula's optional boss battles.

riku ik this has nothing to do with this video but how do i get to the clock tower in neverland if i didnt save ther? pls respond asap.
You have to get there from the Gummi Ship menu. If your further in the game you have to defeat the secret boss, Phantom, at neverland's clock tower. You get to fight the Phantom by talking to Tinker Bell in the ship's cabin. Once the Phantom has been defeated you can go back to the clock tower. Hope this helps

Why didn't I receive Graviga if I sealed the keyhole
Are you playing in final mix? If it’s final mix then you receive an upgrade to your gravity magic after sealing halloween towns keyhole, but what upgrade you get depends on what form of gravity magic you have at that point.
