    Does Czechia have ultralight specific rules or is this considered the same as general aviation? Looks so fun.

    Do you have cabin heat and how did you hook it up, I have a minimax 1100R with a 447 Rotax open canopy but am thinking about installing an enclosed canopy.

      Yes, I have and made it such way: Because I have opposite engine, and exhaust pipe goes under fuselage,(see video czcams.com/video/kNaKq6vvjOg/video.html ) I welded round 2. layer of steel with oversize appr. 10mm, tilted front down and back upp almost as possible for better air flow, and in the rear highest point made 1 1/4 '' outlet for warm air and through the fuselage floor let it in with SCEET -5 flex. ducting, which goes to PVC pipe diam.1 1/4 used in plumbing. In pipe I made 2 holes diam 20mm,one blows warm air to legs , another one to hands (You can see it for very short time in video at 5:28.min). Rest goes to air inlets near instr. panel. Works very well, You just feel insufficiency during descent.

    What kind of compass is that? I really like it!

    • @arvilsbusmanis1215
      @arvilsbusmanis1215  Před 7 lety

      Silva 70P marine. Yes, very readable, but also very sensitive - I had to add an extra magnet to compensate deviation from engine's flywheel magnet. And ,despite of all, I coul'd not fix it, in some directions it is up till 20*.(before it,was 40+) But it is a problem for all, I have flown with some planes You can 't trust to compass at all.

    Is that lever in the floor on the left flaps?

    • @arvilsbusmanis1215
      @arvilsbusmanis1215  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes. But I don't recommend it with original wings. When flap droops, it creates lot of drag You should correct with pedals. Very uncomfortable,even I say, dangerous thing. The only benefit is lift 6 degree option, it increases cruise speed appr. plus 5kmh. I made this option because I knew i shall have speedwings, there flap function works great in all positions.

    Nice plane! Mount the cam somewhere fixed for better results.

      @arvilsbusmanis1215  Před 7 lety

      Thanks! I'll try, but I don't think there will be ''better result''! But this is just my opinion. I'll try to restrict head movements, when filming, what I absolutely ignored for "more realistic" movie.
