I didnt feel any pain, but it was uncomfortable experience and my jaw muscles went cramp. I had done 3 lower molars and 4 upper molars. I must say lower 3 got me very tired ,because 1.5h your mouth is open and also lower part pressed down most time. After 4 upper molars was easyer, becaue you can rest lower jaw. They gave me a pill , so i wont remember too much. But because i have seen this video earlyer. I felt every procedure and itbwas mentally hell 😄. Also im super afraid by dentist previous years and thats why i ended up need for 7 implants ( my own fault ). Today 1 day later i feel pretty good and implants itself i dont feel in my jaw. So yeah its hard to watch this video and even harder to take this journey. But now im excited to get new crowns after 3 month healing 🙂

Implant rejection does exist but it's not that common if it's done properly. It's like being against hip implants and knee implants or hearing implants. Just go back to the stone age my man

@@rokishoto I would say it depends. I had digital implant done about more than two weeks ago. The drilling isn't painful, but the manual screwing of the implant itself is painful. Some patients don't feel any pain. I felt pain bec my doc said my bone is dense and it's the pressure that causes the pain.

i would have to be put under since the stuff they use to kill pain doesn't fully work for me, i doubt i could power through them doing this like i normally do

Why would they want the implant removed? If you leave it empty, your jaw will soften and receed because it has nothing to hold onto, causing more problems down the line. That's why oral surgeons and dentists suggest implants over dentures, even though the surgery is more invasive, painful and expensive.
A healing cap is placed over the implant. Which is removed after a week. But the implant to fully stabilise (osseointergate) can take anywhere from 1-3 months. During which, if the patient desires, the dentist may provide them with a temporary crown🥸

There should be gingiva former for couple of days to make acceptable emergence profile for abutment and crown. After that if patient desires they can have temporary crown but need to be careful.
I don't know a person that has implants and has problems. While people with dentures are always coming back for new ones after last one broke, or tissue was deformed and they don't fit, or need glue for them.
They're making a base for the implant to be screwed into. Most patients that are getting this procedure done are losing teeth from old age or cavities and have weak bone density. The oral surgeon makes the base, caps it up. The patient returns after a few weeks or months while their bones get stronger. Then the molded tooth is screwed in. But if you happen to be one of the lucky few that have strong bones, your surgeon might opt to finish the whole procedure in one day. I've seen people walk in and out with an implant in about 30 minutes.
