      The only part of Honda Sensing I care about is the Blind Spot Monitoring, which isn't even available on the Sports. Regardless, I'd be more than happy to pay more for a trim level higher and get the EX had they not designed such ugly wheels for it. So now I'm stuck deciding between the Sport and the Touring, in which case I'll probably save myself $5K and get the Sport and Honda will lose out on that extra revenue.

    "If we want to get out of that... (manual shifting mode)"
    No need to turn off Sport mode to get the car to shift automatically.
    Hold the right paddle shifter for 2 seconds, and the manual shifting will return to automatic shifting.
    The above applies only to when you are in Sport mode.
    When you are in either of the other modes, the car will return to automatic shifting after a few seconds (that is, assuming you are not still pulling on the paddle shifters).

It goes over bumps so smoothly, corners pretty nice, speakers and good quality and man is it zippy. I lowkey shedded a tear on the way home from the dealership cause of how happy i was🤣 100% get an Accord or a Civic. Now or soon would be the best time to look, there will be no cars until 2024 so once the dealerships are fully empty youll be crossing your fingers waiting on a good trade in

    @JF-mq8tp Před 5 lety +10

    I believe there are some downside feathers of the 2018 Accord that Mike neglected to mention.
    To name just a few, Mike didn't mention that the alloy wheels stick out further than the tires so when you're parallel parking and you get too close to the curb, instead of brushing the tires you damage the expensive alloy wheels. That's only the beginning. Whenever you go in for service, they'll want to rotate your tires for free. Of course! That will put another wheel in position to be damaged while parking. They’re not so dumb.
    Alloy wheels are around $200+ each.
    This one is for men. With a suit or sports jacket on, try to connect your seat belt. The connector is down between the seat and the center counsel so it’s very hard to do, bad design.
    Be careful doing straight in perpendicular parking. Chances are very good that you will scrape the bottom of your car before the front wheels touch the curb. And by all means don't bump into anything more rigid than a beach ball. The whole front end is plastic. Are you surprised that Mike didn't mention any of this? I'm not.
    One more thing, and if you don’t laugh you have no sense of humor. Did you notice the speedometer? It goes to 160 mph. The car’s motor is red-lined at around 100 mph. I think it has to do with Toyota’s speedometer, it goes to only 140 mph. I wonder if the designers figured the Honda owner will get more girls with a higher number on the speedometer. You should ask.
    Thanks Mike for the tour.

    When I saw the interior of the new civic, how you are hugged and tucked in. I said if Honda put this in the accord game over, they did but the exterior design is awful. So listen up Honda for 2020 put the 2018 interior design in the 2017 exterior and you have the perfect accord, guaranteed.

    Like the car other than the rear tail lights. They took a lot of design cues from Nissan & Dodge.

      Additionally, I believe the Sport definitely offers the best bang for the buck. You still get the Honda sensing suite and Apple car play! Plus you get all the cool sporty details and accents! To me, I’d take an already well equipped Accord Sport with those cooler accents over extra electronics any day!

  • @edrickmendez1729

    I almost buy this Sport Accord but the with the 1.5T motor..in the U.S. starting price its around $24K to $25K but were I live in Puerto Rico it cost over $38K to $40K so I went for the LX model ( Obsidian Blue ) with the 19" chrome wheel option they going to charge $37K..common Honda you can do better than that at these insane prices your not going to sale cars only exhibit your cars..also great video mike!!
