    Makes me think my juggling mind takes a long sleep and doesn't stop dreaming... and some nightmares... and the video finishes and I wake up and realize all of it was amazing.

Gran trabajo!

    Really neat how at 2:22 the bro doing 5 is connected to the dude doing 4 by the stringed object. You could potentially have both dogs sync their tosses of that object, so you would have a 4 against 5 rhythm that matches up every 5th beat. So the 5b cascade is run at 1.25 the speed of the 4b fountain. Alternatively, multi-person polyrhythms are achieved easily using several metronome signals, played either on separate headphones, or given discernible sonic qualities and mixed for speakers.

    the clubs juggle like normal, no problems at all. sometimes it is hard though to line them up for certain tricks as they rotate in the air putting the holes in different positions each time.

    the "ezine" from the international jugglers' association is a good place to start... it has many resources from performers that can get you going in the right direction. i can't post a link here due to youtube policies but just google and you can find it easily....

    Amazing!!! I just learned to do basic juggling...watching this blows my mind at how much practice it took and how much skill you guys have to do such things! :D

  • @jaygilligan
    @jaygilligan  Před 11 lety +1

    any one piece club works just fine. experiment with different sizes and shapes of the holes, it will lead you to different tricks being possible. oskar wrangö's film "the rooftop" is all about triangle juggling if you've never seen it yet....

  • @dnb303
    @dnb303 Před 11 lety

    Or sync the tempo, and the stringed object gets a path that repeats every 20 beats. Choose siteswaps that create a striking path for the stringed object. Change throw types/locations to craft the appearance further. Patterns can be constructed for >2 people if passing is allowed, increasing 3-dimensional flexibility.
    Try 7b (casc) vs 3b (anything) with a stringed object. Modulate the distance between people to account for the the object being thrown high, and manipulate string tautness.
