I have been studying Arabic one-on-one since February with a teacher on Google Classroom. I have tried several online lessons to augment my private studies and so far, this is the best online lessons I have found. Clearly communicated and easy to understand. Shukran!

Assalamualaikum ya ustazah,
Example, in between sojood in our prayer we recite رَبِّ اغْفِرْلِي وَارْحَمْنِي and so on, my question is why sometime we use لِي and sometime we use نِي after the verb ( for the meaning of 'for me'). Thanks ustazah, may Allah reward you for your effort
Asalamualaikum,
I can try to answer. لِي at the end of the word means for me. But نِي means just me. So رَبِّ اغْفِرْلِي وَارْحَمْنِي, would mean My Lord forgive for me(my sins), and have mercy on me.
In Arabic, like in English, many verbs need a preposition with them. These are called صلة الفعل. So the verb غفر يغفر needs preposition ل while the verb رحم يرحم doesn't need any preposition.

Hello from Tunisia. I saw your video and it is amazing but i saw a mistake and i wish that you correct it:
The word Lima which means Why, it is like this in arabic; لم؟
The word Lima (لما) does not mean Why
So in arabic if we we want to say Why not? We say لِمَ لَا؟ instead of لما لا
Thank you
^_^
