UofL Dept. of Medicine Grand Rounds: Dr. Rafael Perez

Rafael L. Perez , M.D., Professor of Medicine and Vice Chair, VAMC Affairs at the University of Louisville, and Chief of Medicine, Robley Rex Veterans Affairs Medical Center presented "Principles of Oxygen Therapy 101" at University of Louisville Department of Medicine Grand Rounds on November 3, 2016.
The talk focused on discussing the anatomical and functional nature of the lung as a background to understand airflow and gas transfer as it relates to oxygen therapy, and reviewing the principles and rationale for selecting modes of oxygen delivery in the acute care setting and prescribing home oxygen therapy.
