Just day to day sparky videos
If you like it, that’s cool, if you don’t, that’s cool as well.
Remember, context is important, I can’t show/film every part of every test otherwise I’d still be there now😂just assume I’ve carried it out correctly

As an adult learner your videos are brilliant, thank you 🤝🏻
Thanks
A nice tip I always do is put the oval conduit just into the back box (squeeze it with some pliers and it’ll fit a treat). Saves on a grommet and makes it easier to get cables out if ever need to in future.
I heard that & seen others do that, but I just can’t bring myself to do that…feels wrong 😬
Great tips, im industrial so I never get to do any chasing in my apprenticeship
👍🏻
Great video as always mate, my top tip for installing low level sockets would be save your back and let the apprentice do it 😱😂.
Your using screws and washers to secure your boxes, I've seen so many just held in with a nail or filler lately that seeing you using screws is like a breath of fresh air 👍.
Thanks mate🫡🫡🫡
I've used non shrinking exterior filler to set boxes...even in dodgy bricks ..dampened first...and there's no way they can be pulled out... Expensive though!!!
Ah your talking about proper hard setting filler not the el cheapo b & m special, decorators caulk or a bit of plaster. I did some fault finding in a kitchen a while back, 5 double sockets with not a fixing screw between them. Just held in with tile grout.
Great video, I'm definitely going to use the tip of taking the cables to the corner and adding an inch. Personally, I would rather have the circuit cpc's together to give them the best connection and the bonding cable on its own. Thanks for the tips 👍
Always split the CPC’s in case that terminal came loose you don’t loose both CPC’s…it’s a stretch I know but that coupled with years of doing high integrity circuits makes me do it like that
Neat Job, Can't understand why some people leave no slack, or nail the box in.
Nailing the box is mad
That was a superb video bud 👍🏻 cherry on the top could have been a boat level at the end 😂
Sparky straight innit👀 looked true to the skirting 🤷♂️
We always endeavour to keep N & CPC separated so as to avoid nuisance tripping. If the N busbar has quite a bit going on elsewhere it takes nothing to trip some RCDs which can cause chaos and make us look a bit stupid.
Yep, think most sparks do the same
Love the vids mate bet you'd be mint to work with x
👀👀👀🥴🥴🥴bet I’m not
Cut neutrals seperate to prevent RCD tripping when only got single pole isolation?
🫡🫡
When doing this...dp isolator is off ....or should be...no need to think about neutral and cpc touching
@@tonywatson1412 it’s a split load kid, don’t want to shut half the house off, snipped neutrals so they didn’t accidentally touch the CPC’s
Hello mate, have you ever used the armeg box sinking sets, not sure if it’s worth it, can’t imagine it would go through anything but breeze block. Cheers 👍🏽👍🏽
I’ve never used it as I’ve heard it only does breeze block well and doesn’t work well on engineering red brick
We used to use them and they’re great in block but they throw dust around like nobody’s business. They can be very unpredictable in brick so we either stitch drill or use this gentleman’s method with the multi tool.
Bristol, where is your nail gun?
Awaiting sponsorship 😂😂😂😂

@@rscelectrical7091 don’t worry, I’m joking!
I knew you were too good for that 👍😂
