My gut wrenches every time I hear Stevie talk about that Chelsea game in 13/14. It just feels so bad knowing how much responsibility he takes for that game. In my eyes though, it was always a tactical mistake by Brendan deciding to play that offensively in a game we realistically could have drawn and still win the league. Absolute gutted about how Rangers lost the final this week to Celtic. Gerrard's tactics had us playing them off the park in every department. Done so against teams in Europe too like Porto as example. Despite no trophies yet, he's only getting praise up here. The fans love him and he's given this club so much to cheer about lately. He's put Ranger;s back challenging for big trophies again. But like I say, the results and performances in Europe and big games. Gerrard really has his tactics spot on 9/10 times. I will be gutted when he leaves Rangers but I feel he'll be an excellent manager for Liverpool in the future. Players love working with him and he gets the best out of them. Not to mention that he gives great and honest interviews.
