Questions about the End

  • When Christ told His followers that the destruction of the temple would be a sign of His return, they were understandably curious. Knowing that they would be tempted to fixate on foretold signs and wonders, Jesus reminded the disciples that they should not panic, but prepare for His second coming. Alistair Begg encourages us to do likewise: when we live faithfully in this present age, longing to see Jesus face-to-face, we bring great joy to our Savior.
    Scripture: Luke 21:8
    Preached: March 2, 2003

"Learners, unifiers, servants." Thank you Lord for granting Pastor Begg such a wonderful and unique teaching mind. Thank you Pastor Begg for being such a student of God's Holy inerrant Word and always persevering in that endeavor.

Thanks be to our Heavenly C Father, for your simplifying the scripture, and giving us homework! 😊🧡🧐🙏

Dear Pastor, thank you, this is the best explanation of this I have ever heard. I was bought up SDA and I was so confused about this. Thank you, thank you😊

Brother Mark, I was advised many years ago “ that it doesn’t take much size to criticize “. Now 47 + years later, I’ve noticed that quote was accurate & applies to everyone 🤔.

He didn't exposit much of anything, it was 40 minutes of introduction, hemming and hawing, and avoiding the subject. Lol! He didn't answer any questions about the end. Jesus did.

When that guy in Ca. said the world was ending, I received a letter asking if I believed that would be the end. I wrote that it absolutely would not be the end. Jesus said not even He but only the Father knows when the exact end will be, so that character can't possibly know the end.

What?! Jesus told us to look for signs of the end times! Just like the Star of Bethlehem pointed the magi to the birth of Christ, signs will point the church to the return of Christ. Not just to prepare us but to also encourage us. Praise Jesus!

The NIV is a poor translation. I don't use it, nor do I recommend it to others. * The more of these videos I watch the more I like this channel.

Pastor, that sermon was great , but it pertained to early Christian people. You need to talk about the Rapture which pertains to Christians living now. Please don't give your congregation that they will be eaten by lions as the early Christians did. The last temple hasn't even been built yet, where the man of perdition declares himself god.
please dont use the NIV Bible, which has verses removed from it, which is not allowed according to Gods word. Rather use the KJV. .Please tell them the whole truth. May the good lord Bless you.

He did a masterful job of avoiding the subject. Ha! Where is part two? This is nothing but an introduction. He should have closed with, "Now that I have that established, read it and figure it out for yourself. Use Matthew chapter 24 as a reference."

Maybe you should listen again to pick up on the points he talked through. It's part of a series, which you can find on the channel as a playlist.

When you make a personal attack against someone, you should be able to defend your position. If you can not, you should keep quiet. It's embarrassing and helps no one other than those who are puffed up.🤦‍♂️

Given there's no insights from Mark the accusation could be reflected back.
