Jeez, hard to believe its already been 2 years since this video came out! It was really nice seeing the comments people left then and now, although there were a surprising amount of people saying Charlie (cmdrcharles) was bullying me or something, but rest assured he is a lovely fellow and I did not feel bullied when we were making the video :)

Honestly, this kid is really perceptive and unfortunately has become more mature through the emotional trauma and social ostracization he's faced. It's really sad that he's had to endure such bullying, because you can really hear the hurt in his voice. But honestly, this kid gets it. He's really smart, perceptive and aware.

I had to do the same thing. Really sucks when you have to grow up so quickly because of it. Can’t enjoy your childhood when most everyone you know tears you down. Why I don’t talk to family much anymore or have any friends. I’ve got the one like he said he did. Can’t trust people correctly anymore.

Interesting how social ostracization can help us become more perceptive. I've felt the same way about myself in my childhood, so it was nice to see it in this kid.
Challenges suck, but they also help us to become something that would be harder to become without such experiences

But I have to ask; Is it because they're smarter that they get bullied, or do they become smarter _because_ they were bullied? I don't really know the answer at all, I just find that the correlation is oddly high for it to be some kind of coincidence.
Q: Do kids bully those that they see as smarter in some way?
      Q: If so, why?
Q: How do smart people accidentally set themselves apart from the rest?

@@PanRokador So how aren't you powerful? Kids are so affected from the social lifestyle they are getting at school, but they don't really get that most of the kids are just ruined by a stupid cinematography based culture. Like why would a kid even think on making fun of another kid because of his height. We are just a contaminated inmature society. Now this kid will suffer and struggle until he turns 25 and finally realize that what those kids said was actually not important at all. This is because he is trying to get their friends and social environment approval, but it will turn into an obsession, so he will become vulnerable since he didnt built any self-steem as he was so busy trying to fit in certain status. Its so frustrating to know that so many problems would just vanish if we changed our social structure or our culture.

Man I also have adhd and school was such a struggle. You sort of just drift away from others because people would find you bothersome when it was never intentional. Can't focus in class either and end up getting scolded by teachers/parents which makes you feel incompetent. You can't find a way to be happy like this, so you look at what has worked in the past (In his case it was Kermit). I think a lot of us end up with bad anxiety and ultimately detach because we keep disappointing everyone

Man, when the kid talked about having ADHD, then said “I wanna do homeschool and I know my brain’s gonna say no you don’t, but I’m gonna stick to this answer because I rationalized it”
Growing up with ADHD, even at 25 now, it hit home close to my heart. I know that feeling.
Every decision that you want to make always has to be second guessed by your own brain unless you can kind of mentally rationalize that decision. And it sucks cause sometimes that can lead to missing on what could be great opportunities.
And the whole bullying thing just kinda teared me up cause I was always bullied in my early school years because I was always this kid who acted on strange behaviors. And it’s not that I really ever wanted or intended to, it’s that I didn’t even realize it myself then. Kind of hard to when you’re just a kid yknow? But then other kids don’t know any better either and suddenly you’re easily the outcast basically.
Man...listening to this was just like a introspective of sorts to me.
