    This was way easier to follow than the instruction manual. Thanks!!

    Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I just bought two of these kits and I'm getting ready to install this myself. This is extremely helpful for me to see the installation done visually.

    The instruction manual is an absolute mess and extremely difficult to follow along. This video helped me out a bunch. Thanks for making this, very helpful.

    There is a much easier way with less work and much cheaper. In my opinion this method still has Ford clutter. It only required 2 boxes at 4$ each from Home Depot. I can't remember the channel's name but it's a easy diy for hiding cables on CZcams.

    Great video. I've installed a kit and found that if you have a shorter distance between holes (30" for me) you'll need to think of a way to work with the extra low voltage wire that will be left. Also there isn't an easy way to break the fish line back down for future use.

    I don't use the black tubes, much easier especially if there is layer of insulation in the wall.

    I have this same kit. I want to add a firestick cord, to the cords already fed through the kit. What's the best way to add a new device and hide it's cord? Do I need to use the fishing tool? Enjoyed your video.

    • @AllTechGadgets
      @AllTechGadgets  Před 4 lety

      Yes, hope you kept the fishing rod that came with the kit or you can use one of the hdmi cable that is already feed in there to pull the firetv cables + a new home cable to replace the hdmi that you used to pull the firetv cable through .

    So if the wall has fire blocks, we shouldn't purchase this product? Understand it would have to be large, but could a hole be drilled through the fire block and the wires fished through?

    • @AllTechGadgets
      @AllTechGadgets  Před 3 lety

      You are correct, you would have to drill a big hole to feed the qire tube through. If you have a fire block I don't recommend using this kit.

  • @Yogi8156
    @Yogi8156 Před 3 lety

    I get the feedthrough for the HDMI cables, but just like space heaters your not suppose to use extension cables. Is this extension cable even rated high enough?

      YES you can run a tv cord in a wall !!!!! Here is the link about tv cords in a wall. This was changed in NEC 2014 yes that's right it was changed in 2014. So please those of you who said you could not do this please stop doing electrical work until you renew your license.

    I would love to buy this for my install but my OLED TV has an angled plug that wouldn't fit into the recessed outlet. Any way around this?

    Are you allowed to run the power cord through the wall?

  • @abcall-timesboxingchanneln7076

    The best way is to fish them.

    I"m pretty handy but this product is TERRIBLE. Notice how the video skips over the most difficult part, which is attaching the bottom low voltage box to the tube. You simply can't get the angle and leverage needed to attach it.
