You are so creative. This journaling is for creative-minded people, plus needs to know Tafseer, able to write beautifully like creative-writing. I have zero in me. My handwriting is not good enough, nor do I know any Tafseer, nor do I know how to decorate, etc. 😢😢😢😿😿😿
My handwriting is not good as well but never allow these small things to become hindrance in learning Quran and making journal.
You can get any neutral Tafseer book and start learning and try to create a journal just to understand Quran.
The main reason behind making a Quran journal is to become closer to Quran, decorating the journal is not necessary.

I learn from different books of tafseer, you can check Ibn e Katheer, Ma'ariful Quran, Ma'alim ul Quran or any other book of neutral author which you can get conveniently.

Dear yah sari information Ham kasy hasl kary Quran me simple milta hai
Quran may simple way may sab rules and regulations btai gai hain for everyone to understand or detail may smjhny ky liye tafseer or ahadees ki kafi books hain.
I can recommend you some tafseer books if you want to learn more.

Basically journaling is recording. Ab is ko different daily life acts to record krny ky liye use kiya ja skta hy jaisy daily expenses ta ky month end pr idea ho kita or kaha kharch kiya, ya daily thoughts and habits ta ky hum apni bad habits ko change kr sky ya good habits ko mazeed behtr kr sky.
Isi trah Quran journaling may hum Quran ki ayaat ky hawaly sy jo hum ny seekha ya smjha osy record krty hain is trah wo bat hmy der tak yad rehti hy or phir jab kuch time bad hum wo journal dobara daikhy to hmy remind ho wo sab kuch jo hum ny seekha, is trah Quran ky ehkamat ko daily life may implement krna bhi easy ho jata hy

Why it isn't? Quran repeatedly told us to ponder upon it (doing Tadabbur), learn it to understand what Allah says is Quran, and QJ is a way to do that.
