Taking inspiration from the song 西风的话 by 黄自, the composition is a heartfelt dedication from Mr Kwei to his students who have gotten married and are starting on a new journey in life. The male chorus features a baritone solo, who sings yearningly for the days past and yet continues to look forward to a brighter future.
