My other thought is that huggy and kissy were siblings or very good friends, we can see the likely hood because when poppy mentioned that the protagonist killed huggy on the elevator in chapter three, kissys body language changes and she looks sad. This could mean that huggy and kissy would once communicate with each other and playtime co did not want to let other children know about these experiments until it was time. DUDE I was wondering why almost nobody was talking about Huggy not talking! I am SO glad you made this video! Whenever I play Poppy Playtime I always think "...why aren't these guys talking if they did in the cut outs?" and I never thought about anything you said, that's dark...great theories though! I kind of hope he has a voice box so that in a future chapter maybe he talks. Maybe the reason why in his jumpscare the scream is so high pitched rather than that deep voice in the cut out they either messed up the voice box, something broke it, or over time it sort of rotted and it now makes a weird noise. Or it's just the jumpscare. Either way, I don't care if he just comes back and does that goofy laugh before chasing you and that's it, or if he full on talks at some point, I just wanna hear him say something. Wasn't there a YT short from MOB that had them torturing a Huggy doll, he did say "I'm a baby." That has stuck with me now since how Huggy has left an impact since his debut in 2021.
My theory is that huggy was a young boy who visited the factory with is family and since the toy was made before the bigger body, I guess he loved the huggy wuggy doll and the scientists noticed. So maybe they used him for the experiment and he was probably traumatized that he was separated from his family. His family could've been used for other experiments, like the prototype.

Ok, this is not related to the vid but the word “prototype” means first time testing or smth like that, the “prototype” most likely is a first time going toy, and that we might have to fight the current one. The prototype could have been any Toy at all, there was no fur, no soft material covering him so he might be a un-Finished toy seeking revenge for the people turning him to the dark. We also know that all experiments were tested on kids, most likely meaning the so called “prototype” was a kid once and got turned to a toy. We also see that the prototype takes the killed toys away, who knows where but he might be trying to fix himself so he can be a full toy and actually get revenge on us, player. I also wanna say one last thing (this is it I promise) there are millions of copy’s of toys, all toys, and we might have not actually killed huggy, mommy, or catnap the prototype just made it seem like we did, we could have killed the prototype of each toy. I think huggy's human counterpart isn't traumatized, I think we haven't seen him talk because in every situation we saw him in he didn't need to talk, when we see him on the podium he probably was plotting to act like he was just a prop and then move out when the player isn't looking. when he had the key he was probably the one that rewired the cords to blow a fuse when the player interacts with the hand screen beforehand and then whip out the key so that the player goes into the electrical room giving huggy the chance to leave. when we see his arm outside of the door he was trying to lead the player deeper into the factory were it would be harder to escape, because he knew the player would think "what was that" and follow him out of curiosity. when we see him peaking out of the blue vent he was probably making sure that the player was doing what he wanted, talking would blow his cover. when he's chasing after the player he didn't want to waste breath by talking and he wanted to completely focus on catching the player. and why would he want to talk when he was falling? I think the only secret huggy is hiding is that he is smarter then he looks.
Fun huggy fact:he talks in the chapter 1 trailer of poppy playtime here are some of his line “give me a big squeeze” “i promise i wont bite” “does someone need a hug?”
I thought the posters were from voice actors on a marketing team that made those voices. I kinda assumed the ones that don’t talk, just don’t. They could’ve never be given that ability. I really do see a reason for all of them to talk. Huggy has lots of teeth and would scare a kid. Probably has no ability to talk because of that reason. Although I did like the video. That’s for the content to listen to on my lunch breaks
I feel bad for the toys initially because they were made into toys against their will and they were to young to defend themselves so I can see why the hour of joy would be the only time where they can take revenge on the staff and plus this relates to FNAF in so many ways image them being in the same universe that'd be cool

Wow these theories make sense and they are on par with mine. I often wondered why is it that Huggy and Kissy cannot talk but the others can. Perhaps toys like Catnap are equipped with a voice box and others are not. Huggy's face is forever marred by that permanent smile of his. Catnap doesn't have any teeth and neither does Mommy Long Legs or Poppy, even the Prototype may not be equipped with teeth so maybe the scientists equipped them with speech, especially when they are forced to interact with the children. It is dark to think that the scientists may have removed their voices because of their roles in the factory. It's quite disturbing the more you think about it. I also believed that trauma may have been a key factor to why as well. Experimentation is agony and will forever be etched into your head. PTSD is a powerful thing that can forever screw up your mind and soul. Which is why I can't help but feel bad for all the toys even when they they try to kill you. Their lives have been destroyed.

This is my theory:It look like huggy was beenig controlled by the prototype or else he would have a voice like we see with dogday he can speak to us before the little smilling critters came .After that he was under the prototype ‘s control so i think that prototype took the voices out of unimportant toys or the smilling critters just went into every toy who cant speak and they ate the boxal cords but for kissy i think she has the real smilling critters(exept catnap and dogday of course) and mabe they ate the vocal cords .u are my favorite theorist

My theory is that huggy was a young boy who visited the factory with is family and since the toy was made before the bigger body, I guess he loved the huggy wuggy doll and the scientists noticed. So maybe they used him for the experiment and he was probably traumatized that he was separated from his family.
His family could've been used for other experiments, like the prototype.

I think he don't speak because his voice box could be damaged. Since the toys needed to eat, he probably got caught in a battle and his voice box was most likely damaged in the process

Ok, this is not related to the vid but the word “prototype” means first time testing or smth like that, the “prototype” most likely is a first time going toy, and that we might have to fight the current one. The prototype could have been any Toy at all, there was no fur, no soft material covering him so he might be a un-Finished toy seeking revenge for the people turning him to the dark. We also know that all experiments were tested on kids, most likely meaning the so called “prototype” was a kid once and got turned to a toy. We also see that the prototype takes the killed toys away, who knows where but he might be trying to fix himself so he can be a full toy and actually get revenge on us, player. I also wanna say one last thing (this is it I promise) there are millions of copy’s of toys, all toys, and we might have not actually killed huggy, mommy, or catnap the prototype just made it seem like we did, we could have killed the prototype of each toy. This could just be the begging…..

I think huggy's human counterpart isn't traumatized, I think we haven't seen him talk because in every situation we saw him in he didn't need to talk, when we see him on the podium he probably was plotting to act like he was just a prop and then move out when the player isn't looking. when he had the key he was probably the one that rewired the cords to blow a fuse when the player interacts with the hand screen beforehand and then whip out the key so that the player goes into the electrical room giving huggy the chance to leave. when we see his arm outside of the door he was trying to lead the player deeper into the factory were it would be harder to escape, because he knew the player would think "what was that" and follow him out of curiosity. when we see him peaking out of the blue vent he was probably making sure that the player was doing what he wanted, talking would blow his cover. when he's chasing after the player he didn't want to waste breath by talking and he wanted to completely focus on catching the player. and why would he want to talk when he was falling? I think the only secret huggy is hiding is that he is smarter then he looks.

I thought the posters were from voice actors on a marketing team that made those voices. I kinda assumed the ones that don’t talk, just don’t. They could’ve never be given that ability. I really do see a reason for all of them to talk. Huggy has lots of teeth and would scare a kid. Probably has no ability to talk because of that reason. Although I did like the video. That’s for the content to listen to on my lunch breaks

I feel bad for the toys initially because they were made into toys against their will and they were to young to defend themselves so I can see why the hour of joy would be the only time where they can take revenge on the staff and plus this relates to FNAF in so many ways image them being in the same universe that'd be cool

Wow these theories make sense and they are on par with mine. I often wondered why is it that Huggy and Kissy cannot talk but the others can. Perhaps toys like Catnap are equipped with a voice box and others are not. Huggy's face is forever marred by that permanent smile of his. Catnap doesn't have any teeth and neither does Mommy Long Legs or Poppy, even the Prototype may not be equipped with teeth so maybe the scientists equipped them with speech, especially when they are forced to interact with the children. It is dark to think that the scientists may have removed their voices because of their roles in the factory. It's quite disturbing the more you think about it. I also believed that trauma may have been a key factor to why as well. Experimentation is agony and will forever be etched into your head. PTSD is a powerful thing that can forever screw up your mind and soul. Which is why I can't help but feel bad for all the toys even when they they try to kill you. Their lives have been destroyed.
