Princess Mary was born in Australia and they met at the Sydney Olumpics where he went from Denmark with a few friends...one evening, after the games they went to a pub, i.e a bar...and Mary went there as well with friends....amazing how destiny brought them together!!!

This is my favorite royal couple to watch. You can see their love refected in their looks to each other, their motions, affectionate without being clingy and hanging on the person. I love Prince William and Duchess Catherine also for similar reasons. There love for each other is reflected in everything they do. They are four lucky people to have the love of their partner in life. May it last a lifetime! They also have adorable children.

CP Frederik had a sad childhood. -- His parents lived in ""Hotel Amalienborg "" and the children were upstairs brought up by nannies , and then boarding school --Just like the British Queen's children -This was normal Royal living style . More formal than ordinary people live.Then 2 things happened to change Frederik's life for ever
1) He met the love of his life
2) He married her and she gave him the love he craved for.
At the age of 18 Frederik made a speech vowing that his children were not going to be brought up in the way he had been They only use nannies and carers when necessary Result --a happy marriage , and according to their children -a Happy Family.
Such a loved up couple. There is nothing pretentious about the Danish Royalty and I always feel happy when I watch anything to do with them

Looking at the British royal family I thought they are meant only for the show. Looks proud no royalty no respect no purity in their attitude. He never seems cold and in fact is quite relaxed mostly, so Mary can relax also while they're working.
