Oil and Gas Engineering (Part 1)

The Oil and Gas is well known discipline/facilities all over the world. The technological advancement since 1970’s to as on date improved production efficiency to full fill the market requirements.
The efforts are being made to make all Engineering Students and fresh graduate engineers to basic Oil and Gas Field, their life cycles, and the process of Oil and Gas.
The Oil and Gas life cycle basically involves Exploration, Production, Processing & Transportation, and finally marketing. This Oil and Gas life cycle mainly divided into Upstream, Midstream and Downstream facilities.
An oil platform, offshore platform, or offshore drilling rig is a large structure with facilities for well drilling to explore, extract, store, and process petroleum and natural gas that lies in rock formations beneath the seabed.
Many oil platforms will also contain facilities to accommodate their workforce.
