even if he had blocks I dont think he was able to place them because you cant place blocks where an entity is and the arrows count as entities.

No no no there was a crafting table at the button of the trap. If you try to mlg water it opens the crafting table instead of placing the water. That was a really smart trap.

He and dream plan the videos and the traps to make sure it’s entertaining and not boring and repetitive. It happens with other youtubers to it’s a common thing.

@Ethan Swinger or if you use tons of crafting tables and make walls and a floor out of them, you could do a fall damage trap and they couldn't place water
I like how with the arrows traps they both decided to just not place blocks in front of the dispensers which would’ve stopped it immediately

Solutions that could've been used, but george didn't because he is "George":
1) swim out.
2) place blocks.
3) break the insanely obvious redstone pieces.
4) break the block above him(except if it was obsidian).
5) mine down THEN swim down so doesn't take damage, until there are no more arrows

For the "impossible lava box" trap, I'm surprised George didn't just place down the water and then break the block beneath him. The water would protect him from the lava, and he could then mine underneath the entire trap.
Edit: I'm referring to the first instance of the trap, not the second one as he does something similar but still complicated.

It could be a lot of work, but what if you built a simple village house in the nether (blocking over the windows with dirt etc so it just looks like it spawned in unfortunate terrain) and somehow convinced them to sleep in the bed?
i know a good trap that is almost impossible to escape from, but you have to go to the nether 4 it unless u find a ruined portal or ur in creative. go underwater somewhere deep and make a 2x2 square of magma blocks. surround this with obsidian. if u swim over it u get sucked down and since ur underwater u cant break the obsidian fast enough to save urself from the magma blocks.

26:14 I feel like this trap was under hyped. Dream tried to make it so George would fall, and if he tried to place water, he would open the crafting table instead at the bottom because to put down water, you have to right click and instead, he’d click the crafting table. It didn’t work, but the logic behind it was genius.

great idea for a trap: make a big hole, fill the bottom and the sides and the ceiling with black concrete, and jump there. the other person will have no idea where the bottom is.
alternatively, you could fill the sides and the bottom with maps, because then right-clicking will just rotate the map. I think.
