I’ve been searching for the p226 sao legion for months. Nobody in my area could even get a legion besides the x5 series’s. I ended up settling on a elite sao and loved it! Had for about 2 months. I ended up going into my local gun store and I saw the rxp sao legion just sitting in the case. I’m in love with my new beautiful weapon! So worth the money!
Would you say the Elite is a pretty good gun? I really want a 226 Legion but its a little pricey and impossible to find so I was maybe going to snag an Elite instead.
@@RikkiTikkiTavi290 I would not pass one up if your looking for a classic sig. if you have the opportunity I would! Going to grab another elite hopefully in the near future.
Trust me you want to put in the armory craft smooth action SRT kit, SIG armorer's strut, and dual adjustable trigger. The trigger pull and reset (over stock SRT) is a massive improvement. You can send slide out to C&H precision for R1P slide cut. They are licensed by SIG to do the cut. I sent out a P227 elite and did the boomsquad package for a one week turnaround. Excellent work but the customer service was less then desirable. They never look at emails let alone read them.
I have the same handgun. 3000 plus rounds in...no complaints. Easily my favorite gun of all time. Put a red dot on it once...it was...ok. took it off after a bit...and I know people will say practice but I am faster with the iron sights.
I just ordered my 226 Legion from my dealer who ordered it from Sig, I have to wait 8 - 12 months to recieve it they are that backlogged but hoping for a great Christmas present. Beautiful gun!
It is such a beautiful firearm. I have one as well. I’m thinking about purchasing the slide with the Romeo 1 pro on it. I love shooting mine a lot. Great unboxing video.
I bought one like it back in May of this year. So far I have shot 500+ rounds out of the gun. It is a very nice pistol! Once I get dies for my Dillion 650 I am going to do a lot of shooting with this pistol.

Don’t be left handed. 😀 Use your left thumb to release the slide catch; Aldo the de-cocker. possibly with assist from right thumb…. Easier with left thumb. Practice
If you have trouble using the slide catch, you can replace it with a standard 226/229 slide catch. The standard lever is a bit larger and much easier to use. I had so much trouble working the one on my 226. I ordered a standard lever from the Sig website and now I have no problems working it.
That’s a great point! It is so much harder to rack the slide open with the Legion slide catch. I’ll definitely keep that in mind, thanks for the comment!

I have a P226 MK25 that in inherited that had something in the range of 25k rounds through it. It’s fine. I trust it as much as many new pistols

I've been waiting 2 years now for my P226 RXP Legion SAO with the Romeo Pro 1 in the gray color.
Yeah, I waited a year for the RXP version and it never came in. Took back my deposit and bought this!
Those mags are 10 rd only..... That's why the base is different
Mine came with 3 15 round magazines.

Is it me or did you take a loaded magazine out and not rack the slide to clear the firearm?
Slide was racked and safety checked prior to any trigger pulls. I always check my firearms before I video as well. Thank you for your concern.
