- Open world arcane farming for all the old arcanes is one of the worst things in the game for me and I imagine many others. The daily slog of having to waste time farming a bit of standing just for a part of an item that take a week or more to fully farm. The entire thought of it just gives me the big sad.

Not only are these arcanes annoying to farm, but many are staples on builds. It sucks trying to get them as a new player.

@rjrose3424 I think the problem lies within WF and the community's definition of "new player."
I've finished most of the quests (with the exception of a few frame quest lines that I just don't care about) and have popped open 99% of the planetary system.
I've also been playing for 6 or 7 years, BUT I had a 3 year break, and I wasn't as invested then as I have become lately. I'm also MR 14 with some hundred hours in the game and like 14-20 frames, a bunch of primes... and I don't qualify myself as anything other than a New Player still. I'm also *terrible* at the game because I have hand/wrist mobility issues that make my jumping skills a fkn nightmare (the Ropolyst mission hurts me and the people who carry me)
I have Arcanes, but I'll never NOT be a newby, and I've had Vets agree 🤣
tbh, ignore most of them lol. Arcanes are a bore
You guys are overthinking it. I’m MR 27 and I still haven’t really done eidolon hunts. I just don’t like the encounter as a solo player.
Still hasn’t stopped me from having a rank 2 energize. Thx to Nora, a few trades and clan events
Man, to farm Energize, Merciless and Reaper you need to practice black magic to get them or I don't know...

Energize and Reaper farms kinda suck. Merciless you eventually get so many copies of you use them for free chances at Energize and Reaper.
Throw Exodia Contagion on that pile, you gotta catch the clan & seasonal events when they come around.
If you can build your frame and weapons to be able to take on Steel Path, those primary/secondary weapon mods will drop like candy when you do endless SP missions
I already have Merciless (Primary & Secondary) Deadhead and Dexterity maxed out mostly from doing Survival
Imo those arcanes are the most consistent ones I can get to drop for me
I just see a standing cap issue, to me its the standing cap, i wish it was higher.
Which does get higher the higher your MR level is but by the time you usually get to the really high MR levels, you generally don't need to worry about standing grinding so much other than the latest ones that come out and those aren't so bad compared to the old ones. At MR 29, I have a cap on standing at around 30k if I remembered correctly.
Raising the starting standing caps you get in the game would help big time I think.
The worst part is with the clan event the arcanes are capped now lol

@@Zack_WildfireBasically it only affects you if you buy the arcane's from other players for plat. People were farming insane numbers of energize and the like and then selling them. If you're just farming for personal use, you wont really be affected by the cap at all. I farmed a fully leveled energized and a handful more unleveled ones (like maybe 3 or so) for some friends during gargoyles cry. That is still going to be possible with the cap. So yeah, if you dont participate in the market it won't affect you at all.

I think the syndicate standing cap should be addressed or completely eliminated. Mastery rank should scale all the way up to the full 130k standing you can get in a day. Still the same amount of work, but can be done more efficiently with less forced down time.
I despise having to wait everyday. It took me longer than usually just to get the Voidrig, because of that. *BUT,* at least it prolongs your gameplay, which is a pro to me, at least.
Fortuna is the best open world farm imo. By doing profittaker you also get a ton of depts bonds. So you hit daily cap for two factions by also farming credits.
I just run sp void cascade when its an omina and crack relics for plat and use extra arcanes for dissolution. Play that for an hour or so and you get so much ahit
I never tried that farming method while opening relics, gonna give it a shot

What do you mean with no quick standing farm in Cetus? with hunting, even lazy hunting you get quick standing for every day.
This video feels illegal.
He forgets to mention how to farm outside the shops, the easy and good arcanes like steel path ones, and makes the skull of certain game modes with no reason.
Like this game is not about farming half the time, and optimizing the farm the other half.
Been playing a lot of orphix just because I really enjoy rj but man definitely not as efficient as void cascade and arcane packs after dissolving
@@Mostbaleia the SP arcanes are currently the only ones I have maxed (Primary/Secondary Merciless, Primary Deadhead/Dexterity) and I'm working on getting the rest I need for Secondaries
For me personally, those arcanes are the easiest to farm for due to them being a guaranteed drop from Acolytes
And when you do endless missions, they continuously spawn during each rounds/waves
Have you tried mining ore and gems to sell in Cetus? Way easier than fishing.
Do you think its fastest then hunting? I havent tried myself; How long for a daily cap in fortuna mining?
@@lambisgoio depends on your rank in Cetus but I'm Lvl 5 and just sold 8K worth of gems I have so many. I'm MR20 been mining since I got the laser drill.
I think hunting and fishing are easier
Fishing is super straightforward, throw bait, wait a little, & snipe fish.
@@yofolkdem1256 sure but mining is just one step plus you need to buy the bait the fishing rod and the glow bait to see them easier in the water and you need to watch for enemies umarmed.
It's for reasons like these that I find the Arcane Dissolution system that dropped with the "Whispers in the Wall" update as a blessing, as it made some arcanes such as the Duviri arcanes less of a grind to get. Sure the RNG is a pain, but it's better than no alternative.
I was over arcane farming years ago. I just buy them if I need them lol. At some point they should do something about the farming because it is ridiculous

It doesn't seem hard for op builds to grind alittle
However for noobs it's very confusing where to begin with Arcanes even when you look it up all people do is talk about how op an Arcane is and not the process to get them as much what works or don't work before this video most people didn't know you can get them through standing much less purchase with platinum and irl money.
It's really the amount of time it takes to get the arcanes. Maybe they could decrease the time it takes to get them considering it's a lot of them in the game now. Before, we only had a handful but now there are so many options.

I really hate jus getting to level 5 or the highest standing with each faction. It's hella annoying if each one was like 500,000 credits but nah you need random ass shit to go from level 2-3 and then more random shit to go from 3-4
Farming's standings shouldn't be 2 separate factions each location
This rant kind of falls apart for me for a few things. Maybe I'm out of touch but a big majority of the arcanes aren't necessary for a good build, so if farming them is causing you stress, than stop?
Like am I missing something about the grind in this case? Some arcanes can be good, fine. But there comes a point where I feel like completing their ranked up requirements isn't worth the time, so than why do it? That's what leads to burn out, and that's something I think everyone should be avoiding personally.

yep coming from someone that owns a lot of r5 arcanes even energize. the diff isnt even that noticeable. r3 energize and r5 are pretty much the same, r2 energize is enough imo. you arent wrong.
Yep end of the day, only a few arcanes truly matter. The hardest arcane to farm imo is arcane energize if you don't wanna rely on events. I remember spamming scarlet spear 12 hours straight because I did not want to run eido hunting on the swith servers lol

I stopped paying in 2017 and just came back and everything is so much different its crazy but every time I turn around im tripping over a standing cap telling me I cant progress and im like wtf is this a gotcha game? this is some energy gotcha game bull

I recently completed little duck fortuna arcane grind. It wasnt bad, am off to do duviri next. But been buying the arcane packs from loid.
I'm doing fortuna farm before moving into little duck. What did you do for little duck? Isit profit taker?

Getting standing for all factions is really easy.
But either they need to remove the standing cap or they should make standing be individual to the vendor instead of having standing be for all vendors.
It’s just annoying how long you have to wait in basically daily logins just to get what you want. Log in, turn it stuff for standing and basically you are done. Rinse repeat for weeks. They should really look into reworking how it works.
You can farm these, or you can Ignore the ones you'll never use. DO NOT CATCH'EM ALL.
ive never seen anyone talk about this but if u wanna get ur daily standing maxed in less than 5 minutes for an open world area go into freeroam solo with a tranq rifle and tranq animals. its by far the best method

I don't like rants like this. Particularly for Warframe. It's completely free to play, unless you want to spend money, and you get 1000s of hours of gameplay.
I think people forget that the creators of the game are running a business. If you can get everything intantly/quickly/easily, what is the incentive to spend money or continue to return to the game. DE does an amazing job of hearing out the community and have literally spent over a decade creating new and engaging content for us to play FOR FREE. Imagine if they thought "creating new systems for our players is to much time and effort."
Part of the enjoyment isn't in having the item. It's the feeling you get from completing a syndicate leveling grind, the first time you do a solo tricap and other achievements. And there would be no use in having all of those guide videos on how to quickly farm items if it didn't take time.
I would think you would be thanking them for giving you something to make content about instead of complaining.
Your whole complaint is mute when you realise you can just pick them up in trade chat or warframe market if you don't want to do the grind.

To be honest i don't really see your point because at most you need 1-3 arcanes from each syndicate which are not that hard to get you just have to wait a few days or you can buy them very cheap i only agree with you about the duviri arcanes because are a pain to farm but like you don't even need them at best i would say shotgun vendetta and that's it.
What can i say this video for me is like oh man i want to get these end game stuff but i have to actually play the game for it so sad.
Pathos clamp rework will "fix" duviri farming, since we will get some pathos from circuit we might just buy one for week with the extras from the circuit rewards
the clamp rework is definitely more helpful to just unlock the duviri weapons
@@ZeroOmega-vg8nq you just reminded me theres still other duviri weapons I dont have yet, I only farmed those for Syam & Samposte last year, at some point after the rework I'm gonna tackle the rest of the weapons

Forget the arcanes what about the Kavat incubator? It takes 60k Alloy Plate. And it was meant to be Early game stuff. I'm at almost the end game and still struggled for 3 days now to get those stuff because man, every match is 20 mins long survival, I get 1k-1.5k per match, that's 60 match that's 1200 minutes. That's 20 hours of non-stop playing that game mode, not counting the animations, the team changes in-match, etc.

I hate this discourse. Powerful gear should take the most time to get. That is so important for progression in a game like this to feel rewarding. Everyone wanting things to be farmable so fast is killing the mid to late game. Just look at any other similar titles, destiny, genshin, POE. Progression should take time. Why is everyone in such a rush, truly.
I mean, either way u can open some relics and buy the arcane for plat it's not really that difficult...
While I agree powerful gear should take time to get most of the power you get from warframe will always be from mods first, arcanes are usually conditional to a certain playstyle or weapon but shouldn't take weeks to fully max out in standing and then on top of that get them to max through dupes. Not everyone has infinite time for warframe and would like to grind or do other activities rather than get a incremental bonuses one at a time

I just want to be able to beat SP with Mesa, but arcanes take so long to get. I've looked up many builds, and they all say I need arcanes for SP. It's so frustrating I just want to play the game 😢
If you have another Warframe and weapons that are viable for SP, use that to get the SP arcanes, when you're able to take on SP and slay out, then those arcanes become easy to get, then you can apply those arcanes on weapons you can use for Mesa
SP is the most consistent arcane farm for me personally cause they're guaranteed drops from Acolytes, and when you endless missions they keep spawning in between waves/rounds
I've finished a SP survival mission with 45mins-1hr and ended up with 12 different arcanes (if you manage to kill the acolytes each time they spawned)
I already got 4 arcanes maxed out in a short time

Nah m8 you have 5.4k plat, you hace 33k standing per day, now there's vosfor, there's clan events like gargoyles cry and the upcoming ascension gamemod event, and it's not enough for you? It's plenty.
I got all the arcanes maxed, the helmet arcanes too, now I'm close to getting all the mods maxed except for conclave. And i hope they add more, not just the ones from the new gamemode coming with jade, but arcanes for necramechs and railjack too, why not. If i could do it, so can you. It's easy and if you're maxed on standing for the day with one, syndicate, move onto the next. Put some parkour speed on ivara and do conservation, super fast standing. Got lucky with the weekly rivens from the chick on earth? There ya go, trade them for plat or use them to speed up your time capturing eidolons/killing the orb mother. Stayed a while on an endless SP mission and now have too many arcane merciless? Turn them to vosfor and try your luck. There's plenty of ways to do it as long as you stop complaining and do it.

Just kill sisters for hounds, my like second one dropped an almost perfect one (parts on it are random) also you get some nice weapons, i recommend going for a glaxion, plamor, cyron or envoy. Get a good boy as a side goal
energize is such bullshit, it's insane how good it is and I've farmed so much but got none
theres so many alternatives. r2 energize is good enough. you got nourish/equilibrium(synth deconstruct)/energy nexus/dispensary/grimoire/emergence arcane (the one that gives energy)/ archon stretch with diriga/ archon shards/ aura mods/zenurik/energy pads. trust me dont bother with energize. no need to put yourself through the stupid time gated eidolons.
