The World Urban Games (WUG) is a three-day multi-sport event featuring competition and showcase sports alongside a cultural festival in Budapest, Hungary. One shared venue featuring new-generation sports and elite athletes will highlight the competition, creativity, and lifestyle of urban sport. Chia Lor with bboying more organized and structured in a battle sense, people will sacrifice risky innovation for a more conventional battle style. Also consider that with the advances in internet technology, it’s hard to bring out something new without it being posted in 3 to 4 different places. It’s not that it’s bad or anything, but this is usually the end result of many passions we have because of armchair critics who likely cannot even execute a fraction of what we do.
@@stbsole this is why I stopped keeping in touch the last 5-8 years in the bboying community. It will wrap back around though. That's how trends are, it was like that in the late 80s as well lol. @@stbsole Yeah I think some of these new generation will spawn a new breed of a "wow" factor again. But I agree with you, the Olympics would be ridiculous. Because it's a dance, it has no "standard". So you honestly can't judge how a move is. That's kinda like how they judge ballet dancing... It's to a point where there's no characteristics that you see from that dancer anymore. It's all "point your toe like this, head is suppose to be this way" type of system and bboying will never be like that. It's wayyyy too dynamic. I mean, how will they judge a completely new move to the scene? That's where it basically gets dumb. Because it goes back to Olympics having scalable standards and bboying is all over.
