You know this had to be an epic song. This song was originally done by Jefferson Airplane in 1967. Then it was covered by Tom Scott that same year. Then it was sampled by Pete Rock & CL Smooth in the 90's. Then it was used in an episode of the Boondocks in 2005. Good music lives forever.... It never dies.
Boondocks is how I came to hear. But I heard it sampled in the past which is what peaked my interest. It was the They Reminecse Over You (TROY) song you mentioned by Pete. Which I had only ever heard in NBA Street Legends the game back in 2003.

Shouldn't it make you realize how much of a genius Tom Scott? why is the guy who just copy and pasted his work getting more credit that the person who performed it. I'd give Pete credit for his lyrics and his flow, but not for finding and using someone else's song.
