There are some amazing colorful fish out there. These YELLOW African Cichlids are SO Colorful. This video features YELLOW fish of Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika. To be specific Lake Malawi Cichlids, Lake Tanganyika Cichlids. whether they are fully yellow or partially yellow, they qualify for this video.

Excellent series and species selection. Large yellow labs, strains with black edges on the fins, especially the dorsal are the most spectacular yellow fish IMHO. A common fish but beautiful.

Hi Ty, thank you so much. It is a 3D background that I bought from AquaDecor. So I got it made. This one comes in multiple pieces, so I had to silicone them to the background.

Some cool yellow African cichlids Paul. You asked for any we would've included in this. I have to mention a couple of mbuna that hooked me on the Rift lake cichlids a long time ago. 20 odd years maybe shhhhhh! Hahaha.😀
1) Melanochromis Johanni. The females are a yellow on another level bro.
2) Maylandia lombardoi previously known as Pseudotropheus Lombardoi. Where unusually the males are yellow and the females cobalt blue. A real visa versa in Malawi.
3) Chindongo saulosi previously known as Pseudotropheus Saulosi also.
Female is that lemon yellow like a good 'Chizumulu island' Johanni.

Hi mate, Duzzy from 🇦🇺 I’m writing this after the green vid but maybe you should do the Cichlids that don’t fit into any of the main groups. Or get you subscribers to offer up thier top five from each one of Malawi, Tanganyika, Victoria and the Rivers and Streams then do profiles on the top five from each lake like really in depth profiles.
Also what are the dimensions of the tank you stand in front of and what is the background? Or where is it from.

Getting back into the hobby. Have a 100 gallon tank and wanna do a school of electric yellow labs. Have lots of filtration. How many can I put in the tank and ratio of males to females?
More females for sure. Maybe 4 males and 20 females or so

I get them from the contributors and add them to my video editing software.
I bought my electric yellow Cichild and it was yellow and when i brought it back at home it was orange will it become yellow?
It could be due to the substrate color.
