This is another Patrick Ta mess. It's plastic packaging, just like his other crap, which we all know is cheaper! And the highlight is BS. Milk has a better one! Elf has a better one! Do NOT waste $40 on this poop. Do your research and get a better product at a better price. I knew these were going to be garbage, just like his eyeshadow palletes are. Overpriced trash
I didn’t get the hype over the blushes either! I thought maybe it was just the shade I got or something. The powder was too pigmented imo, I prefer something like the Jouer blush duos where they’re super blendable and start soft but can be built up. And the cream - which I thought I would love as I prefer creams - was the opposite, it was overly sheer? Just odd and I wanted so badly to love it because I loved the shades and concept

I always wondered why beauty products generally have ridiculously long names. So, I heard that with names that long, apparently brands don’t need to trademark the specific name of each product. I imagine that a brand stealing such a long name from another would be too obviously malicious.
Im not a Patrick Ta product fan, but these caught my attention. Early opinion, but they may be overhyped. The warm shade was undetectable, and maybe in person, it looks nice, but there are so many beautiful highlighters in the market. Great demonstrations!

These are better than the highlighter that was in that palette for sureeee cuz that one sucked lol BUT imo, both arent worth the price. The holiday palette one was chalky af. These new ones barelyyyyyyy give any glow & theyre very finicky. I got 3 & the 3 I got are also chalky & the cream in them are gloopy af like melting off the pan. Verg dissappointing. I love pt but ill deff be returning
I ordered baby which sat out on a hotter day for a longer time and opened right away it was fine! Today sugar came in, it was not as hot, swatched a few hours after, same pression as with baby and I too made a huge mess, real disappointment! Wondering if it is not a bad batch? Creamy like that is not made to be in such a pan! It is lip gloss texture
These did not appeal to me and they still don't, but fun to see you try it.
I love Patrick Ta blush and eyeshadow, admittedly it is a shift in what I am craving. 2 or 3 years ago I was a warm toned give me highlight that will blot out the sun, but today I have more cool vibes and am really having a mat moment. Thank you for this review because I have a bad habit of buying brands I like to collect just to have them and not really because I am into the particular product. I get romanced with Patricks packaging and all reason goes out the window!

FOURTY DOLLARS (that’s $60 Australian!) for some balm on the cheeks? Sorry but Makeup Revolution has like five of these highlighter balm type formulas for like five or ten bucks. Or just use Vaseline. 🤷♀️

I actually purchased the silver & pink yesterday. I actually returned them today. I think they are awful. I know they are sheer but Patrick Ta in my opinion failed on this one. To much effort & better products out there.

After reading the comments and watching your review I'm thinking ill probably return it. I'm not a big highlighter person but tbese looked pretty and natural. I don't really wagt a cream that feels like a balm on the face. Love your videos ❤

I like the translucent effect! I think they look pretty. Idk about that price however. I don’t use highlight enough to justify the price. Also, I’m really in the blush lighter concept/ effect
Happy for me. I just ordered my love and now I find out it doesn’t dry down and may come obliterated. I should have checked your channel before purchasing lol
I also bought my love - it really shows up on me and I’m pale. Initially I was disappointed with the Vaseline feel but it did dry down quite a bit ….. and it last 12 hours before I washed it off and highlighters typically don’t stay on me at all. I really like it and I’m going to buy another!
There’s definitely a place for these and considering a formula similar in quality is about the same price point you have to consider you’re getting two versions in one and also getting the packaging with a protective cover for the cream it’s about right 😊

But I love MAC and Bobbi Brown highlighters and thinking Ill stick to what works. Maybe when in stores and I can try them. Totally agree with Sephora packaging. This happened to me when I bought the pat McGrath under eye powder online, Sephora replaced it for me, and the second time it was wrapped with care and was intact, but it is so devastating.

The cream on my Sugar shade is exactly the same way. I was really surprised when I touched it and my finger just sank into it. I had it in my possession for a few days before I even touched it so I don’t think it’s from being too hot. Maybe there’s something wrong with it?
I always buy powders in store especially highlighter as they always break. I think Highlights are more fragile than other powder products because if anything has broken for me its always highlighter

Westman Atelier; Chanel; Victoria Beckham highlighter sticks will give similar effect .. in my opinion. Easy to apply and easy to travel with
I'm sorry but makeup prices have gone ridiculous! I don't see this product being any better than some drugstore or at least Ultra priced products. Second, I'm sorry, social media is contributing to higher prices.

I ran to the store on launch day and grabbed Daddy and Honey. The powders are beautiful… but the cream is definitely something you have to work with and learn. I had sooo much texture the first day. Went in with a lighter hand today and Honey was a little globby🥴 I definitely don’t think I’ll pick up more of this highlighter. And I think the price could have for sure been lower

Umm… the best highlighter honestly is the luminizer from cle de peau celestial sparks. It’s sooo smooth and super easy to use, zero ZERO emphasis of texture. I was going to try the Patrick Ta but it’s really important for me that highlighters look smooth as silk, easy to use and just glide
I don’t have a ton of time to get ready but want an amazing, brilliant highlight. Try the Cle de Peau I promise you’ll love it. You never need to buy another highlighter again (coming from a fellow makeup addict/lover)

Does anyone have recommendations for a glassy, glowy highlight? These seem too fussy. I've been using the westman atelier stick but its just so expensive and can mess up foundation.
I just got this delivered yesterday and it’s truly disappointing!! The cream wrecked my makeup underneath when I applied it with a brush and then my finger on the other cheek. Fail! It’s greasy and too glittery for me.
If anyone purchased these can you please report back here -- especially the PINK. Is it glittery?
I am enjoying the Rare Beauty, HAUS or Sephora Collection for powder and the Danessa for cream. For $40 though I think the HAUS formula looks higher quality.

I just ordered an eyeshadow palette and one of the pots in it was totally shattered! 😩😭 I am so upset. I’ve never had to return anything to Sephora and the nearest UPS is 40 minutes away. What a hassle. 🤦♀️
I’m going to pass on this product. I strongly dislike packing powder and cream in the same case. Also, I’m still getting over the trauma (lol!) from the powder/cream foundation compact Patrick Ta still sells. The powder hard panned on day two and I can’t even discuss the cream foundation. Too many other formulas out there to take a chance.

There is no way you could travel with Sugar. It would run right out of the pan. I have to believe something went very wrong with that batch. I bought Baby from Sephora online and it came intact, despite the shipping box being smashed on one end 😬 . Haven’t tried it yet, but the cream looks solid, like your Baby is. If it stays sticky on the face, though - that’s a non-starter for me and will be returned 😢 Products like that make my face itch and I spend all day trying not to scratch my face off 😝
While I buy all the PT releases they never become favorites. I know that’s an unpopular opinion. I have tried this highlighter once and I used a light hand and I’m never going to use the cream, but I liked it. It gave a pretty glow. Makes sense I like the one PT product no one else likes.

Yeah unfortunately these are not giving and for the price you either have something like that in your collection or try something else. I thought they would be more forgiving on texture but they look that they emphasize it. I recently got my hands on Fenty on how many carats and it's honestly beautiful and wet look but not showing off texture. Dior and Chanel have some great ones too if you want more luxury beauty. I will never understand why brands believe that the white shade should always be the glittery “diamond” shade. Dior, Chanel, Makeup By Mario, Patrick Ta, Fenty, etc. They all do it. And the next deeper shade options are always too deep for me and my pale skin.
Also, I feel like I’m crazy, because I buy into this brand so much and then I never use the products because they’re just not my favorite formulas. I miss those light yet hard pressed powder blushes. Everything is way too pigmented for me and even the lighter shades he released were fine but still intense pigment after one dip of my brush or sponge that required a lot of blending.
I just want a sheeny natural looking glossy highlight that looks like Becca’s liquid illuminator in Pearl or Tom Ford Soleil Glow Drops in Winter Soleil. Is that so hard to recreate?
