  • There is too much to share in just one video but we have a few things you can think about when you are starting out in racing RC cars.
    Local knowledge is everything so make sure you speak to the local RC guru.
    Tires transmitters and talking to your local clubs is going to be key.
    the most important thing is HAVE FUN...

    My advise for a beginner (from my experience) is to invest in a transponder because what that dies is record your lap times and it will be shown on computer at the club, that's good because it'll show how fast your doing per lap. Another thing is DO NOT reverse after crashing into a wall or a barrier because (idk if all clubs do this) you'll get something like a 10 second penalty and that's bad, always and only contentrate on your own race and don't worry about other racers, buy racing tires like they said but glue the rims and tires together because if you don't then you might be grip rolling around every corner and it'll help you to grip a lot better top. Hope these little tips help

    "Slow is fast"
    I've been racing for years and I still start every practice session with a LiFE battery so that I am forced to drive slower while I'm warming up and learning a new layout.

    Love the videos keep it up have had a few Tt01e over years sold them due to not really racing them and thinking be expensive but watching your videos realised not as expensive as I thought and going to bust local track check rules and have a go at racing myself.

    Great video Boys 👍 you forgot to give a shout out to Steve the rc guru😂😅🤣 I agree with you there, it's always good to give a hand when setting up or putting away. Most importantly when you first join the club, it's a good way to get to know the other racers.

    Hi guys, just starting out in Mardave mini racing with a friend but we’re both building a 1/10 TC aswell for the future, currently converting my TT-01D but was wondering what budget friendly 17.5t brushless motor/esc combo you would recommend. Thanks and keep up the good work on the channel 👍🏻

    • @PopalongRC
      @PopalongRC  Před rokem +1

      Not put a 17.5brushless in a tt01 as yet but the hobby wing just stock combo is a good starting point …

    one of the touring cars that my local track uses is something called as the vantex 416 or HL518, which is a replica of the tamiya 416. It's one of the cheapest belt drive touring cars. I should make a review of it soon when I get it yeah?
