@@lords-electrical Be wary of that claim. Assembled in UK from "mainly" imported parts is far more accurate. Pretty sad that it's come to this. Can't the UK make switches, timers, wire cables and heater elements? Appears not!
I have had my 2 slice dialit nearly 20 years. Never had an issue. High quality. Your videos are very informative and a delight to watch.
Got a 4 slice one of these, been great but have just had to order a new timer after 7 years. I like the fact that it's simple and can be repaired and made in England.
This really could be my next toaster after my Bosch one. I love the repairable part of it.

I bought a matching Dualit kettle and toaster, 10 years ago. The kettle only lasted 2 years. The toaster is still going strong. I suspect, that that kettles longevity, was impaired by drunken daughter syndrome. C'est la vie!

Hi, thanks for the video. I want to know if the support rods on the sides and the base are made of aluminum or stainless steel. I mean, if the aluminum comes into contact with the bread at any point? (I am not referring to the external clamp-type device to place the bread and then put it inside).

I'm a little confused as many of your links now refer people to online stores (such as amazon) I assumed that you would be hoping for people to purchase these from your business? Very good review though.

Very good point. A lot of what i talk about we sell as a company and i will point you to our websites, but if it is something that we don't normally stock long term then i will normally provide a link to a competitive company like Amazon where you can get it all the time.

I spent over £200 on the 4 slice Vario toaster... and, from day one it just burns every piece of bread put near it! Waste of money, I'm absolutely furious!
Hopefully it is still under warranty so that you can get Dualit to sort it out for you.
