Authentique Fabulous Mini Folio and My First Tutorial!

- This is my first tutorial. I hope it is clear and easy to understand. If you have questions please let me know. I hope you enjoy!
Chipboard covers and spine - cut two at 5" x 8" and one at 1" x 8"
Cardstock to wrap cover - cut at 10" x 12" and score on both the 10" and 12" side at 1". Cut a 2nd piece at 2" x 10".
Binding - cut cardstock to 7.50" x 6.50" and score at 1.50", 2", 2.50", 2.75", 3.25", 3.75", 4", 4.50", 5"
Base Pages - cut three at 4.50" x 7.50". Cut three at 4.50" x 8.50" and score at .50" on each end of the 8.50" side.
Waterfall - cut base at 4.25" x 7.25" and cut seven waterfall pages at 4.75" x 4.25". Score the seven pages at .50" on the 4.75" side. Cut the closure for the waterfall at 1.50" x 5.50" and score at .50" on the 5.50" side.
Page 1 - cut flap at 4" x 7.50" and score on the 4" side at .50". cut pocket for the back of the page at 5.50" x 4.50" and score on the 4.50" side at .50" and on the 5.50" side at .50" on each end.
Page 2 - Cut two pockets at 4.75"and 3.50" and score on the 4.75" side at .50" on each side and .50" on the 3.50" side. Cut a flap for the pockets at 4" x 7.50" and score on the 4" side at .50".
If you want to make booklets for the pockets, cut two pieces at 7" x 4" and score at 3.50" on the 7" side to fold in half.
For the back of page two cut two pieces at 4" x 4.50" and score at .50" on the 4.50" side.
Page 3 - cut flap at 4.50" x 7.50" and score on the 4.50" side at .50". Cut a pocket for the flap at 5" x 4.50" and score at .50" on the 4.50" side and at .50" on each end on the 5" side. Cut a flap for the pocket at 4" x 4.50" and score on the 4.50" side at .50"
Back cover pocket - cut one piece at 6" x 4" score at .50" on each end of the 6" side and .50" on the 4" side.
Belly band closure - cut one piece at 2" x 12" and score on the 12" side at 1.75", 3", 8.25", and 9.50".
Photo Mats - cut base page mats at 4.50" x 7". Page one photo mat is 4" x 7". Page 3 photo mat is 3.50" x 7". The photo mat for the back pocket is 4.25" x 7".
Pattern paper for the front and back cover - cut to 11.25" x 7.75" and wrap around.

Love this tutorial. The folio comes together quickly and it doesnt require a lot of paper, one kit is enough. Made one for my aunt and my mom loved it so much i had to make her one too. Thanks so much for sharing.

I just entered the world of album making and this is such a perfect size and skill level for me to do. I am so excited to do this. Also thank you so very much for putting in the measurements. I transcribed them to my own Word doc in a table so I know how many pieces of paper I have to cut to make the base album. You providing this info was SUPER helpful! Cute album by the way! Very nice. I like that 1/4" tape step you did between the cover chipboard pieces. I have a hard time leaving enough space between pieces so that the paper doesn't crack. Great tutorial!
Thank you! I hate measuring so the tape is an easy way for me to get the space I need between the pieces.

This is adorable! I was looking for something small for a gift. I was going to make a small album with just waterfalls on the front and back cover but this will be perfect with the extra pages. Thanks so much for the tutorial!

This is so cute and I like how you put it all together. I couldn't quite make out the punch you used for the corners. Could you tell me again what that was. I have a corner rounder but would like something more decorative. Thanks.
Hi Kathy, I used a ticket stub corner punch that I bought on Amazon.com. We R Memory keepers used to make one called the deco punch but I am not sure if that one is available anymore.

Excuse me if already asked. Approximately how many photos will this hold? I have my grandsons boot camp graduation pictures to make about 6 albums. Portrait and horizontal pictures. Love this, you make it easy.
I counted around 40 photos but several of them will need to be cropped.

Hi Patsy! Yes, I have 40 photos in mine and have no problem with it closing but of course you can always increase the spine a bit if you are worried about it.
If I follow your tutorial but use other papers and change the design a little bit, could I sell the album non my shop?
