Limitations: Critical Mode, 2 Curagas (no other commands, except for potions), Wayward Wind Keyblade, basic finisher, Level under 50.
This was a good fight to do but it was a bit too easy so I had to mess around during the fight so the whole video had a decent amount of time. This would've been a cool fight to actually do if it really happened in the storyline now that I think about it, maybe that's the reason why they made the Armor of the Master boss.
I know I've been bad about recording and uploading things that I promised to do but I got other stuff to do sometimes, I have a life like everyone else. I'm gunna try a little harder to get more recordings done since I have really old request that need to be done so I can get them out of the way. I'm gunna go try recording another request before the weekend ends. Oh this is BBSFM, not the regular BBS, just to let people know.

After defeating master eraqus with terra,I really thought he was a weak and old master.
and my opinion changed when I faced him again in mirage arena.....

I just now realized how much this environment looks like the old Spyro games.
Some people say, Terra has the hardest bosses of all.
The Reality: The bosses aren't hard, it's Terra sucking up because he can't spam Dodgeroll like Aqua and Ven xD
Using Terra is still kinda fun and challenging
Ven's theme in the cutscene preceding the fight really sets the mood.

One thing doesn't make sense. Why would Eraqus use an attack called "let the darkness die" on someone with a heart of pure light? That legit doesn't make sense. And the fact that that attack can hurt Ventus at all is fudging amazing.

This is actually Terra's battle, this player hacked Ventus's model in place of Terra's. Hence the 'Dark Impulse' command style which is a Terra exclusive.
Therefore Eraqus' dialogue in this battle is meant for Terra.
Ventus is a necessary ingredient to a very powerful darkness so it makes sense why Eraqus would say that, but a pure light attack hurting Ven is silly regardless.
While this alternate scenario was well-made and intriguing to watch it's unrealistic, it's not even plausible that it might have been.
1. Ventus wouldn't have stood a chance against Eraqus. Having Vanitas extracted from him and Sora fused into his heart would have sensibly altered his powers from when he was a union leader or even Master Xehanort's pupil.
He's quite a bit behind Terra and Aqua hence his not qualifying for the mark of mastery exam alongside them.
2. He agreed that his existence needed to be ended for the greater good and was welcoming Eraqus to do it. He'd even tried to stop Terra from intervening. So even if he were strong enough he wouldn't have countered.
ShadowOnTheWall if Vanitas were to rejoin Ventus it would just recreate the X-blade but it can also mean that Ventus would have all of his raw powers back if it wasn't forged
Eraqus was old and not much experience in fighting keyblade wielders in the last days of his life, and also if this happened it would make sense to why he lose so easily to young terra

It would have been cool if we saw a fight between ven and eraqus. And at the end ven is tired out and is about to be hit by the attack and that's when terra saves him and that whole thing plays out.
The description says the battle that could've happened.

It wouldve made sense of why he lost relatively easy to terra

The ending is damn epic... Just as he is charging for a finishing attack, Ven Gathers all his focus... Pause to think about whats happening. Then bash and slash with all his might... The sheer emotion of it all... The conflict of why this is happening... It must be so confusing for ven. Ouch.
And, with this act of selfish resistance, Ven doomed several worlds to the darkness.... Irony, huh? Let's hope Sora doesn't... Wait, he already HAS.

I disagree. He was lucky that Kiari was able to restore him from a shadow heartless otherwise he wouldn't have been able to stop Ansem and close the door to darkness.
So in that sense, his sacrifice was selfish.

Lazarus Tennessee Probably. But don't forget Terra took down Eraqus, meaning that if Aqua is stronger than Terra, then she's waay stronger than Eraqus, and since she got his Keyblade at the Final Episode and became a Keyblade master (like Riku hehe), we could say she inherited from Eraqus's status.
Oh and don't forget about the Armor of the Master.
+BraviNoname Couple things to know here, being a Keyblade Master doesn't just come from strength, but also heart. Eraqus Was going to give the title to Terra, as he saw Terra had better fighting skill than Aqua, but he saw that Terra had darkness in his heart, thanks to Xehanort. As for Terra-Xehanort, that is mostly Xehanorts power into a body he can't really use it on. That is why he lost. Terra's Power comes from Lingering Will. The same Lingering Will, that took down Terra-Xehanort and but fucked Sora for 10 hours straight. It's quite clear that, Terra is the strongest out of the trio, Ventus is the fastest out of the Trio and Aqua is the most powerful (Magic) out of the Trio.
Eraqus: Well... what matters is- YOU MUST EXIST NO MORE!

I feel like this boss fight. When I sought him the first time, was pretty difficult because Terra used DARK IMPULSE THE ENTIRE TIME!

I think it would have made more sense for Ven to fought Eraqus, to weaken him. Then Terra comes in and fights him, and then Xehanort get's the final blow.
You know, random thought, since Ven was stripped of all his darkness, wouldn't that make him a king of hearts? Considering he is pure light thanks to Xehanort?
+Zion Lynk Depends. With Vanitas' end, I don't think Ven would be pure light anymore. Vanitas was Ven's darkness incarnate. When it was defeated it likely returned into his heart. Not overwhelming it, as is the case with a Heartless, but enough to make him, well, whole.
well his heart was damaged when he was split into two.. but .. on the other though.
+Darth Nox Vanitas should have been destroyed because he would have not found a heart willing to take him in likely. Im sorry Im replying to an old comment but I just thought I'd clarify that.
Is this battle real or not cause I'm on critical mode and I didn't fight Eraqus I only saw terra jump in front of me and that's it

If you use Terra then you fight him. If you use Ventus then you just escape.

This battle should have happened, but with no death (almost no damage) from Eraqus, that way both battles can be in the storyline (Terra vs Eraqus and Ven vs Eraqus)

yea the X-blade or (kye-blade) The χ-blade was a legendary Keyblade introduced in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. According to the Xehanort's Report, the χ-blade was an alternative method to opening Kingdom Hearts; instead of opening the Door to Darkness, it summons Kingdom Hearts directly to the wielder.

Look up KeyToTruth on YT. He made the english patch, or at least has it. There's a video advertising it on his channel (advertising I use loosely)
One thing which I can't seem to achieve when swapping charaters (english version), how can you have the swapped in character have their action commands (ie. glide, reprisals, dodge roll, etc)? I've tried other codes and I can only get non-working ones in the command menu.
Could you point me in the right direction mate?
